Instead of the annual Vegas anniversary trip, hub and I decided to stay in WA and do a casino trip. Tulalip has always been one of our favorite places for an evening out. Food is great. Atmosphere is fun. The players club is probably the best, you just need to know how to use the perks by talking to the people that work at the desk. Tulalip tribes do, by the way, give back to their community. Valet parking guys are prompt and efficient. Nice selection of machines. Table games are also always busy.
Drove down from Vancouver to do some shopping and stayed here for 2 days...
This place is the closest experience to a Las Vegas casino that I have been to outside of Las Vegas. The main entrance of the casino is stunning. They have a great selection of Slot Machines and the reward system with your Players Card, you can add up points really fast which you can get cash back!
We booked the `stay and play`package which included a Buffet Breakfast each morning. We used ours for late breakfast, early lunch. Fantastic selection, great service and tasty food...
The rooms are amazing... Super comfy bed and soft linens, and the best shower I have ever seen in a hotel. Three shower heads that hits places I did not existed on my body.
We came from Hawaii to Tulalip for four days for my Daddy's 96th birthday. It was a most wonderful experience. We were treated like royalty at all times. The staff went far out of their way to see that everything was just right for us, and I appreciate it VERY MUCH. I found them all to be very personable and caring.
The hotel is simply beautiful, My only complaint was that the windows don't open for a breath of fresh air. The beds were wonderful, everything felt new and expensive. Even the hallways are gorgeous. The Tulalip Suite is simply to die for. The other suites are all very nice. My Daddy had the Orca, and it was like a home with an incredible bathroom.
We played slots sometimes for 10 hours straight. I found them to be generous and fair enough. We won thousands, lost thousands, but still came home with more than we went with. My problem is that I don't know when to quit. lol
We ate at all the restaurants but the Bay. Of course it isn't New York greatness, but we had no complaints. It was all quite nice and good. As for prices...well, I live in Hawaii where EVERYTHING costs more, so I thought it was all a good deal.
I had to rate the Gaming tables above, but we didn't play the tables. I saw/heard alot of winners, though.
We go to Vegas, too, but I have to say I had every bit as good of a time at Tulalip as I have ever had in Vegas. We absolutely WILL return. Probably for Daddy's 97th birthday!!!!!!!!
