The rooms and views are beautiful and peaceful—a great place for a little getaway! The casino has almost every game imaginable with great graphics and in increments from $.01 to $20,00. Also, the management does what no other casino does: posts the jackpots with the time/day, bet amount, game & specific machine, and jackpot amount daily—you can usually see 5-7 days at a time. My most favorite aspect of the casino is, however, the lighting (not dark!!) and, since COVID, SMOKE FREE! I’ve won a few jackpots here, lost a lot, yet had fun while doing it. Overall, ClearWater is a relaxing, fun, pleasant place to go. The staff are friendly (a few front desk folks could use a class in customer service, but everyone else more than makes up for them), the food—especially in the Beach Glass Cafe and the bar (when it reopens)—is excellent, and the atmosphere is simple lovely. Oh, almost forgot, they have the best saltwater pool & jacuzzi anywhere, plus truly take what everyone needs to stay safe during Covid seriously. ]]> Tue, 10 Nov 2020 18:22:25 +0000 <![CDATA[Suquamish Clearwater Casino Resort: Awful casino]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/washington/suquamish-clearwater-casino-resort.html/discussions/2509344 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/washington/suquamish-clearwater-casino-resort.html/discussions/2509344
The slots are on lock down at this casino and im not going to go there anymore! I never see anyone win anything let alone myself. I did used to win money at least half the time but something has changed to make it so people keep loosing. The food isnt that great and i would prefer they give something of better value back to there customers than kitchen stuff and other trinkets. I dont expect to win every time but its just no fun when you loose the majority of the time. Im an adult and can make the choice not to go spend my hard earned money there anymore and thats what im going to do.

My wife and I have always had a blast at Clearwater. We went there for our honeymoon and were able to pay for the entire wedding with Casino winnings. It seems like we had never had a bad day at Clearwater. The staff that worked the craps table remembered us over A year later, The hotel staff was very courteous, I really have nothing bad to say about this place

<![CDATA[Suquamish Clearwater Casino Resort: What a lame casino]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/washington/suquamish-clearwater-casino-resort.html/discussions/2508444 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/washington/suquamish-clearwater-casino-resort.html/discussions/2508444
Yeah this is the okey-doke amateur I don't even know what a be type of casino is trying to pull here I'm very unprofessional catering and can't seem to have a professional sense of catering to customers of various degrees so as long as you're old and don't mind being stuck out here they'll be glad to take you stupid that some of that helps us to really try hard but others seem to play playing games and are quite unhappy as well as the majority of the security and staff here have very unprofessional business matters and manners I would recommend 7 Cedars or even the lucky dog off of the 101 before this casino. and the shuttle doesn't mind trapping you here all day and night

If you go to play the slots, then assume you are going to lose and quickly. In the past this casino has been passable, but since a remodel and spending money on new garage the payback has gone from lousy to near nothing. It is possible to spend three hundred dollars, 50 cents at a time and never hit a bonus and lose so quickly you head will spin. On occasion they allow some winning but the time will pass in about 20 minutes and your back to losing.

Lame!!!
Used to be able to actually win jackpots here...before the remodel!! Now $5.00 bets reap as little as $40.00 in bonus round (if you're lucky enough to get in). Guess we're all paying for that sucky new remodel!!!

<![CDATA[Suquamish Clearwater Casino Resort: The worst]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/washington/suquamish-clearwater-casino-resort.html/discussions/2507990 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/washington/suquamish-clearwater-casino-resort.html/discussions/2507990 If you would like to win money, dont play the slots because they are specifically set not to payback fast and when they do payback its assured you are still not even. The bonuses are nearly zip, in fact several times I got bonuses that were in fact NOTHING. The higher you bet the more chance you have but still that's about 1 in 200 of getting even because these are the tightest slots in western washington. They have altered some machines to never payout bonuses so if you think its a matter of time, forget it, you will never win on that machine. ]]> Wed, 30 Mar 2016 02:58:03 +0000 <![CDATA[Suquamish Clearwater Casino Resort: was good once]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/washington/suquamish-clearwater-casino-resort.html/discussions/2507181 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/washington/suquamish-clearwater-casino-resort.html/discussions/2507181 If you go here to play slots, forget it. I am a local and I have played here a lot. I used to be able to break even and on a few occasions even win but within the last few months the Casino has dropped the bonus payouts and dropped the overall payouts by a drastic margin. if you intend to just give them money, go ahead and play, but if you think you want the chance to win, go somewhere else. ]]> Mon, 03 Nov 2014 04:07:25 +0000 <![CDATA[Suquamish Clearwater Casino Resort: A HINDRANCE TO THE COMMUNITY]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/washington/suquamish-clearwater-casino-resort.html/discussions/2507147 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/washington/suquamish-clearwater-casino-resort.html/discussions/2507147 I am very disturbed with what the Clearwater Casino has done to the community. Not simply because the gambling or the slots are awful or seem rigged, but because they are buying up the town and like most of the Clearwater buildings, the owners always opt to construct the cheapest building structures possible. If they're choosing buildings from a catalog, you get the sense they point to the cheapest or second cheapest option available. They just completed a huge nasty parking lot that sits right by the road. It's several hundred feet tall -- A rectangular gray block of cement lit with hundreds of awful cheap fluorescent lights, perched by the waterfront. It can be seen for miles. Prime real estate wasted on blob of concrete to hold a few hundred feet of cars. It's blinding from the bridge at night. Did the owners PLAN this? Why slap a 10 story, acre wide slab of parking on waterfront property? My guess is it was the CHEAPEST parking option they had. Underground parking would surely cost more. And they take this approach with all of the other buildings they erect in the community as they year by year take it away from people. They throw up marginal buildings with the money they have sucked away from old ladies and local blue collar people getting their paychecks highjacked by the Clearwater owners. And they never give back to the community. If they do in some marginal way they of course have to flaunt it. Greed doesn't even begin to describe what this operation is about. Now they're in the process of adding a new hotel which translates to: ANY & ALL CUSTOMERS will be sucked to the bone who venture inside. That's literally what it means when you note they are building a hotel. It means YOU will pay for it. The owners don't like to pay for things! Certainly not the costs of construction, no matter how cheap and ugly it is, they want it coming from your pocket. The community pays for it and only the owners benefit from it. If you go there now you have a 99.9% chance of losing. With slots the very best they offer while the Hotel is being built is one (1) chance to cash out after you've lost approximately 60% of your principal. One chance to get about half of your money back. If you don't cash out on your one chance, they take it all and they do it quickly. It's not fun because they don't bother to give you the illusion you could win it back with a bonus because the slots don't go to bonus rounds. It's very rare. If they do they often won't pay. This is true. After playing for an hour and finally hitting a bonus the Clearwater delivers you with experience of winning nothing on your bonus round. That's a fact. The bonus gives you NOTHING. Why? I assume because the owners don't really care about the customers. I live in the area and I won't go there anymore. The majority of the locals I know have stopped going simply because it's not fun to always lose. Clearwater is too cheap to offer even the illusion that you might have chance of winning. I don't know if I can give the slots a 0... It truly doesn't make sense to rate the slots with a 1 out of 5 rating because the distance from that rating to the best rating is too close. It deserves a 1/4 of 1 point simply because the slots make sounds and the lights on them work. Other then that they are pointless as is the entire establishment. ]]> Tue, 30 Sep 2014 17:56:05 +0000 <![CDATA[Suquamish Clearwater Casino Resort: Most expensive casino in the area]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/washington/suquamish-clearwater-casino-resort.html/discussions/2507133 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/washington/suquamish-clearwater-casino-resort.html/discussions/2507133 I need to respond to the previous review. Let's be realistic, as CJ suggests. Slots are a zero-sum game. You will lose. Maybe you can win 1 out of 6 times, but you are not walking out ahead. I would hope that all slot players have figured out that they cannot quit their day jobs to play at tribal casinos. The problem with the Clearwater is that they have a terrible payback rate as compared to other local casinos. This means that I pay an hourly rate for my gambling entertainment of 2 1/2 times the average of other casinos within a 90 minute drive of the Clearwater. I believe there are two possible reasons why: 1. the casino has set their slots at 82-87% payback to pay for their new construction and tribal funds, and/or 2. the casino aggressively advertises their large number of slot jackpots. Either way, it's pretty safe to assume that low and mid-level slot players are screwed. As in screwed more than average. Yes, the staff is friendly, the place is clean and bright, but it is costing more for the visit every time. I have had many more bonus games, big wins, and greetings from the staff at the nearby Point Casino. I'm not a schill--you will lose money wherever and whenever you go, but you can do better for your gambling dollar elsewhere. ]]> Thu, 18 Sep 2014 05:58:12 +0000
