We visited this casino on Thursday this week and were very impressed. Now, I will not tell you I won a bunch of money, truthfully the machines seem a little tight with few bonuses. Really need to improve that, but, the casino itself is worth going to see. They have done some extensive remodeling and it is a very modern style. When we pulled into the parking lot, I honestly looked at the style and shape and wondered what does it look like inside. It looked like a huge domed tent or hut, quite large. All along the outside walls is Indian art which is very impressive. I loved the two wooden statues at the entrance.
We entered the lobby and the players club was right there. Love that! Then, we entered the casino. It is a simple, but elegant design with approximately 400 plus modern machines, a beautiful bar in the middle, and very high ceiling with modern art designs over the bar. The ceilings being so high eliminated any smoke problems and we were told they have a very extensive smoke elimination system. The staff, security and player’s club personnel were great and very friendly. The casino was very clean and the cleaning staff was visible and worked very hard to keep it that way.
But the real treat of this casino is the Little Boston Bistro. Besides a very extensive menu, they have an early bird special that is a real treat. For $14.95 you get a 4 course dinner, choosing from 3 selections in each course. Go to their website to see the whole menu plus the special. The atmosphere, wait staff, décor and presentation of their food is extremely impressive. We were very surprised to see “New York Style Presentation” in a medium sized casino out in the country in WA. The food was outstanding, done to our liking and quite a variety. I recommend this highly. We did not eat at the buffet yet but it looked very good also.
Visit this one, you will enjoy seeing it. It is worth going there just for dinner.
Well, the new casino is here, and they did a nice job on it. The deli and restaurant are pretty nice, not as bright or as large as the Clearwater down south, but new and clean. They have a cigar room, The facilities are fantastic, but guess what? Those slots were trucked across the parking lot, and they still suck. The machines most likely payback at 92-95%, but they do so like the Emerald Queeen; rare and absurd payouts. In a casino this size, it's like being on a few small networks--one guy hits big and everyone loses money for the next 15 minutes. At least now with the cavernous clean new building, you won't have to hear everyone in the place swearing at their machines.
I dropped by this out-of the-way casino to try it out. The parking lot is torn up and off in the distance are several bulldozers clearing land for a big new casino. Hmm...who's going to pay for it? Perhaps some hapless sucker like me who goes in to play for a few hours and never winds up even halfway back to zero. Really, this place plays TERRIBLE. You might as well go to the Muck or Snoqualmie at rush hour wearing a sheep costume. It's obvious this tribe NEEDS your money. You've been warned...
I've been going to the Point for a few years, but my enjoyment has been getting progressively worse over the past year. One of my major gripes about this place is that the ticket cash out machines are always out of order, forcing patrons to go to the cashier. Well, besides the fact that there's usually one cashier there's even 15 minutes during the early morning hours where NO ONE can cash out your ticket. I realize it's only 15 min., but usually they're just standing around anyway. Once in awhile the slots pay off, but they definitely seem tighter than other casinos... maybe cause they need to pay for their new building?
We have been stopping there for over a year and will NOT be returning. We use the ferry to get there they offer to repay you for, however they keep finding ways to not pay us. This latest excuse after 3 to 4 hours of two of us playing their slots they said because we had not use the ferry in one day. Guess they want to pay for their new building before it's done?
