slot machines are too tight compared to the tulalip casino; be prepared to lose. The old angel of the winds you had a chance of winning. Since the remodel you can go through a hundred dollar bill on slots in 10 minutes. We go to all the casinos up and down I-5, and angel of the winds has the tightest slot machines of them all.I can't believe people still go there. I guess its easier to get to with traffic and all. Good luck ha! ha!
My friend and I decided to go there to play instead of Snoqualmie or Tulalip like we usually do for blackjack. It was a bit uncomfortable from the start.
We bought in for $500 each and were playing for a decent amount of time. Next thing we know, four pit bosses are just staring at us. We can't figure out why until a dealer comes to us and tells us they think we're card counters. Card Counters! In a six deck game! Plus, I was losing over $200 and my friend was down at least $1,200.
There's absolutely no way I am going to play at a casino that is so paranoid about its money that it would make its bigger bettors feel uncomfortable. Why sweat your players like that? As if the casino doesn't make enough money.
Angels recently added and in process of remodeling the old part. I think the big draw before the remodel was the cheap eats (99 cent specials). I hope once the remodel is complete, that they will still offer these specials. They do offer them now but food is held in a hot cart.
The new restaurant they opened had VERY slow service and prices a tad higher then the regulars are used to. Fingers crossed that it will be better once all remodeling is complete. So far it has lost that community feel it used to have.
Could be my luck, but I feel slots have been tighter with this expansion too.
Wife and I loved the old Angels and played there instead of the " others " close by. Came to the new and improved(?) Angels, got very little play time on the machines, some machines accept your card while others do not,(sort of like the Tulalip) and the waitress screwed up our order twice because she said she didn't need to write it down! It was a disappointment on our 1st visit to the new Angels. Will we be back? Not if the Snoqualmie Casino shows us what it takes with their play, service, food and staff !
