Maryland Work Group Discusses Expanding The State’s Casino Gambling Options
A state work group met behind closed doors in Baltimore this week to discuss expanding casino gambling in Maryland. After meeting for four hours, the group agreed to recommend that the state keep its cap of 15,000 slot machines and allow table games, such as blackjack.
"It was a good, long discussion," said O'Malley's chief legislative officer, Joseph C. Bryce. "A lot of numbers were thrown around."
