Living in the San Antonio area, it’s the only casino remotely close. But it’s a good experience. It won’t ever compare to the spectacle of Las Vegas or the size of places like Winstar, but it’s as good as you’re gonna get in Texas (as of 2025). The payouts seem better here than Las Vegas, although the jackpots are understandably smaller. No table games, as it’s a Class 2 facility. Customer service is generally good. Players Club might be a bit limited in comps, unless you’re a higher level player. The gaming atmosphere is vibrant and decently large. The hotel is quite nice and isn’t shabby at all. Free sodas on the game floor, and standard food court fare, which is fine by me, unless your food tastes are more refined. All in all, it’s great to have it within driving distance for a day trip.
