I am a gold member close to platinum. I really don't think I will go back. The April BOB promo just gives out a 5 dollar food court coupon. What a joke. The machines are way too tight. No I don't go expecting to win, but I would like to play a little longer than 30 minutes on 200 dollars.
As casinos go..it's really not worth the trip. The slots-no matter what denomination-are very tight. Table games are normal. I know its a business but, its brutal there. Maybe the Cannery owners are just trying to milk every penny out of the place before the sale is finalized. That being said, the inside is organized well and the bars serve the normal stuff. There are a lot of food offerings but, the quality leaves something to be desired. I wont be spending a lot of time there but its not bad if you just want to stop in for a quick drink before heading out somewhere else.
Pennsylvania has a long way to go. The experience my family and I had, was absolutely terrible . slots are juvenile so tight its like welfare. Overall feeling is disappointing. The food is generic, service is horrible. Pennsylvania will never be a Vegas type casino Hell they can't even compare to AC. Anyone thinking of visiting a PA casino. Please think TWICE..
this casino just keeps getting worse and worse....the slots just eat your 20 dollar bill without giving anything back....bonuses are turned off. I'm not sure how they are getting away with this but everyone you chat with there has about had it with their payouts. Someone should be checking on their tactics.
At the beginning of January I was given 4 different weeks where I was given $100 to use at The Meadows Casino. My girlfriend got the same offer as me. The first week of January we went and we had $100 Free play each to use at the Casino. We went and we had it and had a good time.
However, we went back 2 weeks later where we were to have the $100 again based on the paper they sent out and to our unfortunate surprise I only had $10 and my girlfriend $5. We drove over an hour just because we had this Free Play and we found out it wasn't on our account. We then took the papers we had showing where they were giving us the $100 to the Players Club inside the Casino. The workers were not helpful at all and said they sent us a letter which I had not seen. I asked for the manager and she said they made a mistake and gave people more free play then they wanted to and they were not honoring it for the last 2 weeks of the month. They would not compensate us with any additional free play and said you can do the swipe to get more free play but that is the same thing everybody else could do. Myself and my girlfriend came to get $100 in Free Play as promised when sent the original paper saying that's what we had. $100 in free play is what they said they were given and that is what we expected.
In my opinion The Meadows falsely advertised free play and then took it away. They honored the free play for 2 weeks. But on the third week did not keep their promise to their members in taken away 90-95% of the Free Play promised to them. It is like Best Buy saying a TV is on sale for $100 in an advertisement and then when you get there the TV is now a $1000.00. The Meadows players club treated us poorly and kept passing this problem on to somebody else who was similarly uncaring and unsympathetic.
If I lived 15 minutes away I probably wouldn't make as big of a deal of this. However, I live over an hour away and felt robbed that I drove that far for $10 Free play when it was suppose to be $100. I don't get how any business could promise one thing then take it away. If it was their mistake then they have to deal with honoring their mistake by giving out the free play. It is very hard for me to feel sorry for their mistake when they rake in millions upon millions every year. Maybe it was a million dollar mistake on their part but they are a big business and need to honor what they say. Myself and my girlfriend felt cheated and scammed by The a Meadows Casino.
My advice is there are several casinos in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Ohio and I will be taking my business to The Rivers Casino in Pennsylvania. And for shorter travel The Wheeling Island Casino in Wheeling, WV.
I will no longer give a company who betrays and treats their members poorly my business.
