When Sands first opened, it was a fun day trip. Since then, they've built a mall, a hotel, and improved their food offerings, but the slot play is way off. I don't plan on winning every time I visit a casino and play slots, but I've lost the last 5 times I was at Sands. I'm taking a break from this place.

My opinion/experience/guess is that they have somewhat loosened the multi-line 1 cent/2 cent machines and the complicated "theme" machines, while severely tightening the basic $.50/$1/$5 three or four reel, basic one-payline machines. The 3-reel dollar machines can suck up $100 in about 5 minutes now. I'm guessing they are trying to keep the "little old lady" bus trip crowd that prefers the themed penny machines loyal or something.
