First, the ATM's will tell you that you cannot get cash so then the casino employees will tell you your only option is to go and take a cash advance on your credit cards-this is a scam to get more of a fee for them. Good variety of machines and table games. Views of the Bay were nice but, can smell bad at low tide. Staff was friendly. Players club used to be a lot better now, not a lot use for a small time gambler like me. Food was good at snack bar but we felt the buffet was over priced for the area. Easy to find, right on highway 101. Is located in Coos Bay / North Bend so lots of coastal things to do when not in casino. We had, in the past visited occasionally and had enjoyed some good wins. We started going pretty often, but didn't win anything, often losing our money within an hour. ($100 each). We know there are always ups and downs, so figured we'd get some good comps. Wrong! They give us each $5 a week, no matter how much we play. No food, no hotel rooms. A lousy $5 a week. During this time we were spending our playing money mostly at The Mill, but would occasionally visit Three Rivers casino, in Florence. Yet Three Rivers Casino gave us great comps. We continued to get $30 twice a month, 2 free hotel nights, $20 in food comp and a free dinner buffet on Friday or Saturday. Each! We now put our gambling dollars in Three Rivers. We might occasionally drop in on The Mill. I talked to a couple of staff in the players club. All they can tell me is comps are based on play. That's baloney. We recently moved up to another players level. We were told that meant better comps. NO! Same comps except a discount at restaurants. They are NOT LOYAL to their players. We stopped one more time on our way out of the area at the Mill Casino to use our points on our Players Club card for dinner. What a disappointment! The buffet was on that night (reason we stopped) and it was not so good. They have hired a new staff and got rid of the old chef, A BIG MISTAKE. The prime rib had absolutely no flavor, crab just so so, and other foods were dry. If you have read my earlier review you will see I love their restaurants. Slots seem a little better and we really enjoyed ourselves. I saw people winning so that is a plus. This is definitely one of my favorite casinos, they seem to have improved and that says a lot. Will be back soon. Table games 1 because did not use. amenities or Hotel - we rated the RV park and it is great. wonderful staff and facilities. Worth the money. The first time was great, but last year there was so much bleach in the sheets that neither me or my dog could breathe. I ended up taking the dog out to the vehicle and leaving him there so he could get some rest. Me, I just stayed up all night. Other than that I like this casino. I don't play table games so really can't rate on that. The food is great - I have never seen a restaurant serve a piece of ham so big it requires its own platter. There were three of us in our party and there was enough ham in one breakfast order for all three of us. The food has always been excellent.
