Don't go this place, if you have lots of money and not sure what you are going to do with it or simply if you want to throw money somewhere then this place is the best fit. i was looking to mention 0 rating , but no such option exists so went for 1 Rating. Finally, Total waste of money and time. All games are under their own control and manipulation , your chances of winnning are 0.0000000000000000001 percent.

<![CDATA[Spirit Mountain Casino-Oregon: Not any more!!]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/oregon/spirit-mountain-casino-oregon.html/discussions/2508382 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/oregon/spirit-mountain-casino-oregon.html/discussions/2508382
I live pretty close, about 25 min away. My husband and I USED TO go there at least once a month, but not any more. While the casino it's self has become more and more beautiful over the years, there's no guessing where they are getting the money for the improvements. You used to be able to go and have dinner and gamble for a reasonable amount, but that's not the case now. The buffet is good most of the time but have recently been unimpressed, and don't even get me started on the gaming. The slot machines are increasingly tight. I didn't go to get rich but it would be nice to play for more than 30 min without losing everything. If you're looking for a fun place to gamble I recommend the extra 25 mins to go to Chinook Winds.

<![CDATA[Spirit Mountain Casino-Oregon: I'm way ahead]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/oregon/spirit-mountain-casino-oregon.html/discussions/2507877 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/oregon/spirit-mountain-casino-oregon.html/discussions/2507877 I've hit royal flushes four times here over past several years. Once on a dollar machine - paid $4,000 - and 3X on 25 cent machine paying $1,000 each. (I ALWAYS play Jacks or Better Poker and play X5 to get max payout on the royals). I only bring $100 with me into the casino - all extra cash and plastic stays in my glove box. If I lose my 100 and want to play more, I have to go out to my car, which is all I need to break my "desperado" moment and just go home instead. I usually go late on Sunday night because: A. I'm retired and I can, and B. I like the minimal crowds. I use the club card and generally accumulate enough points for a free hamburger-fries which are my favorite. Also, If I'm having a so-so time, I don't mind leaving with just a few $$'s profit. Hey, a small win is better than any size loss. And its a great 1-hr drive home at 3 AM or so I no longer get their mailouts because my play is too small - that's OK---I'd rather just take home cash instead. I've also hit my fav 5-spot Keno play that pays around $1,100 - not once, but TWO times. So for me this is a great casino and they will be a long time winning the $9,000+ back at $100 per visit. ]]> Thu, 28 Jan 2016 14:56:03 +0000 <![CDATA[Spirit Mountain Casino-Oregon: Not impressed]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/oregon/spirit-mountain-casino-oregon.html/discussions/2507865 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/oregon/spirit-mountain-casino-oregon.html/discussions/2507865 This is a very pretty and clean casino. They have a fabulous buffet, especially seafood night which features crab. The slots are another story. They are so tight and rarely give a bonus. Even if you do get a bonus, you get nothing. Too bad, it is a pretty drive there, but probably want go back any time soon. ]]> Sun, 17 Jan 2016 23:27:26 +0000 <![CDATA[Spirit Mountain Casino-Oregon: First time there]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/oregon/spirit-mountain-casino-oregon.html/discussions/2507718 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/oregon/spirit-mountain-casino-oregon.html/discussions/2507718 This is a NO win casino. We went there for the weekend and wanted to come back after the first night. All the slots were terrible, the food wasn't to bad. I would never go back there again. ]]> Sun, 04 Oct 2015 20:29:20 +0000 <![CDATA[Spirit Mountain Casino-Oregon: Oregon Casino Tour - Spirit Mountain]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/oregon/spirit-mountain-casino-oregon.html/discussions/2507453 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/oregon/spirit-mountain-casino-oregon.html/discussions/2507453 Not one of our favorites. We were here several years ago and it seemed fine. This year we stopped and were not impressed. Staff seemed uninterested in helping anyone. Even some of the customers seemed to be kind of rude. Machines were tight to say the least. One person said if you could find a machine that paid, it would be your lucky day, we didn't find that machine. We had planned to stay here for a couple of hours but cut our visit to half an hour. Didn't eat here or sign up for the players club. Not sure if we would even stop if driving by. ]]> Thu, 23 Apr 2015 17:46:27 +0000 <![CDATA[Spirit Mountain Casino-Oregon: Go to Chinook]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/oregon/spirit-mountain-casino-oregon.html/discussions/2507338 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/oregon/spirit-mountain-casino-oregon.html/discussions/2507338 I have went to this casino once in awhile for many years. The last time i was there I heard so many of the supervisors not treating their employees with respect. I was surprised. I overheard a couple of the employees talking about the working conditions and how abusive it can be to work there. I can not spend money at a place that I know treats their employees so poorly. It's obvious to me when so few of their employees smile. ]]> Wed, 28 Jan 2015 06:57:06 +0000 <![CDATA[Spirit Mountain Casino-Oregon: Always enjoy myself here.]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/oregon/spirit-mountain-casino-oregon.html/discussions/2506517 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/oregon/spirit-mountain-casino-oregon.html/discussions/2506517 Last visit was 7/11/13 I have been going here for years. I always seem to win, well it depends on what others consider winning. I have NEVER went there and not won something! Some days when I want to spend as much time as possible I will do the ol' "put in and double method"; put in a $20 cash out when it's $40 not matter what then move from machine to machine doing the same. That way I have money to play the entire time. Sometimes I do this and walk out with $500+ going in with only $100. Last time I went I had $85 and had the funnest time! I was able to gamble with that for over 6 hours and went home with over $600, that's my idea of winning. I am not going for a Jackpot, I figure if you go in thinking that way you will overgamble and surely lose. I just want to have "me time", take a nice drive, go somewhere that I can smoke, relax in front of a machine that may pay me tons, listen to good music while I play, and go home with at least double what I came with. Stay positive, never go with what you can't afford to lose, have a laugh with the cool people behind the cashier cages, the floor walkers are always nice, and when your purse is full of tickets but you're out of cash LEAVE WITH YOUR WINNINGS. I like this place a lot. Headed that way for my Birthday next week, wish me luck :-). ]]> Mon, 22 Jul 2013 00:54:24 +0000 <![CDATA[Spirit Mountain Casino-Oregon: Rude Employee]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/oregon/spirit-mountain-casino-oregon.html/discussions/2506454 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/oregon/spirit-mountain-casino-oregon.html/discussions/2506454 On 9/13/2012 visited Spirit Mountain,,,,,,hit a jackpot on a slot machine in "The Peak" section....one very nice male employee stopped and congratulated me on my win answered some questions and told me someone would be with me shortly with paper work to be completed...soon after here comes two female attendants one looking at me like I just stole something from her.... to make a long story short this woman who paid me was the most discourteous, impudent, infelicitous person ever from start to finish.......sent e-mail to Spirit Mountain and to date have not received any reply, apology or acknowledgment.....I do not even receive bulletins etc from them....bottom line the problem is not just the floor worker but management also......I have not returned and do not plan on... returning .......too many Indian Casinos in Oregon who appreciate gamblers.....and then there is also Las Vegas!!!! They have done nothing but continue to improve over the last several years. The Buffet is the best by far of any of the other Oregon Casinos. We are constantly receiving promotions and lodging specials. The staff is always helpful and accommodating. Win or lose we always have a great time at Spirit Mountain. The other thing I appreciate is how the Confederated Tribe of Grand Round has invested back into the community. They have donated money and are title sponsors on several events throughout the state. ]]> Tue, 10 Jan 2012 18:54:41 +0000
