The Buffet was bad. They actually served us powdered milk. The pork chop I had was dry and tough. The cashier at the buffet had a slightly negative attitude. No customer service on her part. The salad bar was good. I went to play slots two nights. Lost $80 one night and $60 the next. Didn't get to really enjoy playing. It just ate it two fast. My boyfriend and his son played black jack. The dealer kept changing the rules. The pit boss was not concerned-more rude then anything. Stopped at Spirit Mountain and Wild Horse Casinos on the way home. Staff was way friendlier at both places. Had fun playing slots at Wild Horse. Found a slot I got to play for over an hour and only came out $7 down. Wild Horse's Buffet was really good.
My wife & I have patronized this casino since it was a tent where the arcade now sits. We will not be returning ever again after this last visit. To put it simply both of us played slots and more times I can count the payout is dismal even with a big "Bonus Round" win. The experience is shared by everyone we spoke to that the slots are very tight and even when you win, you barely win more than a few times your bet. Having a background in electronics I can tell you that these slots are doing exactly what the preset program settings are telling them to do. Time & time again, I watched people hit the Bonus for 53 free spins or less and win less than 20$ to 30$ on a dollar bet. The tribe has obviously gotten very greedy. I can say this, play OREGON Lottery slots and your money will go much further and the pay outs are bigger and more often. You can also find the payout percentages with govt. machines, good luck getting % payout info from the tribe. Patronize someone else....maybe they'll learn but I doubt it.
Used to be better. We stopped here several years ago and thought the buffet was nice. This time the food was only fair. We don't expect to win on the slots but do like to play for a while. Slots were tight and we didn't play long. Staff was friendly enough when contacted. I enjoyed the small coin show while the wife spent her money in the slots. I think I got the better deal. Fairly easy to find as right off highway 101. Outlet mall in the city was small. The usual coastal fun is available when not in the casino. We won't make a special trip for the casino but, would stop again to see if things change.
I have learned to stay away from the upstairs buffet. Got sick last time eating overcooked seafood and raw turkey. I would never trust the slot machines. I suspect they are preprogrammed not to pay out big jackpots and have watched the reels sticks on several occasions. Where is the oversite? That being said the tables are a lot of fun. Not all staff are friendly, but I'm sure they only make minimum wage. My advice would be to play at the tables, bring your own food, and take time to enjoy the beach!
