They lost my car at Valet, then said they had my car but couldn’t find the keys. Then they said a driver took the keys home with him. This was all starting at 11pm and after waiting 45 minutes with my 75 year old parents, they bring my car up. Apparently, mgmt felt the only compensation I deserved for their major screw up was 4 buffets for Fri night which is no compensation at all since I live 200 miles away and will not be there on Fri. I left with nothing but disgust. The worst part was that they did not seem to understand how upsetting the whole situation was. My very expensive car is MIA, I had just dropped over a grand in their casino and nobody seems to be that bothered by the situation but me. I’m top tier at both Choctaw and WinStar and guarantee they would not have been so nonchalant. My advice, park your own car and hope you don’t inconvenience them by daring to be unhappy when your car disappears on their watch.

<![CDATA[Riverwind Casino: Wowza]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/oklahoma/riverwind-casino.html/discussions/2509432 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/oklahoma/riverwind-casino.html/discussions/2509432 My wife and I have been patrons of Riverwind for the past 8 years. In that time we have seen this place gradually transform from a friendly and enjoyable entertainment atmosphere to a regular unenjoyable experience with more security, unfriendly staff and a plethora of shady characters. Our visits were mainly to play slots...which in the old days had entertainment value even if we lost. These days the machines have zero entertainment value. As a casino...not a resort...entertainment for a majority of patrons is the slots. In its current state...only a fool would put money in any of these machines. We have switched our slot entertainment to Biloxi. In particular the Beau Rivage. We regularly receive all inclusive flight, 3 day stay and free play for $50 all in. Leaves us with plenty of funds to enjoy a true resort experience. So long Riverwind! ]]> Mon, 15 Oct 2018 22:27:56 +0000 <![CDATA[Riverwind Casino: 0.2% payback at chickasaw nation.]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/oklahoma/riverwind-casino.html/discussions/2509378 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/oklahoma/riverwind-casino.html/discussions/2509378
Worst payback in the world..no gaming commission in okla.0.2% payback. Compared to 80% to 95% where there is regulation..stay away from all CHICKASAW nation casinos..unless u like losing with 0.2 percent payback..that's 20cents on 10$..

<![CDATA[Riverwind Casino: Still going after 8 years]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/oklahoma/riverwind-casino.html/discussions/2509099 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/oklahoma/riverwind-casino.html/discussions/2509099
I’ve read numerous comments from mostly locals trashing Riverwind. I live In the Texas Panhandle, and I come to Riverwind about once a month or every other month. I’ve had good trips where I won big, and others where I haven’t. That’s life when it comes to casino gaming. There about 10-12 machines I play when I go. I don’t seem to notice a difference in frequency of bonuses being awarded. The rooms are still very nice and clean. The bar staff is excellent, and everyone else on the staff that I have encountered has been very nice and helpful. Chips & Ales still has very good food. The Willows buffet has declined some, but it’s still not bad. I have noticed less cars in the parking lot over the last few years, and I’m sure it’s a combination of locals maybe not winning as much as well as the declining oil economy. I will still continue to go as long as they continue to send free room vouchers, and even if they don’t. Maybe not as often lol.

<![CDATA[Riverwind Casino: interesting quirk on video poker machines]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/oklahoma/riverwind-casino.html/discussions/2508714 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/oklahoma/riverwind-casino.html/discussions/2508714 Have only been here once, so my ratings are very tentative. Liked the food and service at the Chips and Ale. But here's a heads up for my fellow video poker players. The seemingly identical machines at and around the bar don't all have the same pay tables. That's something I've never seen before. I switched machines because a key was sticking, and found - to my surprise - that the new machine paid 9 on a full house in Jacks or Better, vs. the more typical 8. (Rewards on the other hands were identical.) So if you are going to play these, check out the pay tables on several before you put your money in. ]]> Sat, 27 May 2017 11:24:41 +0000 <![CDATA[Riverwind Casino: Forgot what winning feels like]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/oklahoma/riverwind-casino.html/discussions/2508226 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/oklahoma/riverwind-casino.html/discussions/2508226
Riverwind is in a downward spiral. This casino used to be the best in OKC. The 1 star ratings are a true representation of how terrible this place is. Their new motto should be "what losing feels like with terrible food and bad service".

<![CDATA[Riverwind Casino: Horriffic Expierience ]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/oklahoma/riverwind-casino.html/discussions/2507975 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/oklahoma/riverwind-casino.html/discussions/2507975 As a friequent visitor I know the odds of winning or losing. However, last night turned into an absolute horriffic nightmare! After ab otherwise pleasant evening with my wife, low and behold my name was called for the last drawing of the evening, unfortunately I was at the oposite corner of the casino, not knowing for sure where to go I went to the nearest players club, It was in the NE corner of the casino, I asked the girl where do I go, she said to the South end. I asked her to call and tell them I was on the way, (I am a handicapped Vet and unable to run like a 25 year old.) When I got there they said "to late,"we already called the next name! They claim they never got the call. After checking back with the person who called I am told she called the wrong person who was then going to run over to the promotion desk and tell them I was on the way. ( I don't think she did) Again later I'm told the girl which made the call was new and inexperienced, therefore she called wrong place. I asked to speak to the floor manager, he was nice, even went to his superior, ultimately I was offered a free night in the hotel and 2 free buffets! A very small offer considering the drawing was for $2500.00. I was told they followed the rules to a tee, doing nothing wrong, it was my fault I was late! Well in my opinion, if they had properly trained the new girl this would all be a mute point. They discriminate against the elderly and handicapped! I refused the free night and buffets, I also turned in our players club cards and filled out the forms to be removed from their mailing lists! It will be a "COLD day in Hell" before I go back to Riverwind! 3 minutes is not enough time for a handicapped or elderly person to respond to a drawing! I still may persue an attorney! My advice is find a better place to spend your money! This expierience has left me Very Disappointed in what I previously thought was a reputable place! You can be using your cards and be loosing you pull it out you will start winning a bit because they don't want you to leave They don't comp any rooms no matter how much money you spend I went to Winstar last year they comped us two weekend nights in a nice room My wife and I both did good on the electronic games at Winstar . Riverwind punishes the locals because they think you have no choice but to go there .it takes me a hour an a half to go to Winstar .as I did two weekends ago . And I felt a lot more appreciated there .And grand casino is 30 min away ]]> Sat, 05 Mar 2016 19:48:31 +0000 <![CDATA[Riverwind Casino: Amazing Fun! Even the attendent in the ladies room. It's extremely clean and the people who play around you are pleasant. I will definitely go back. ]]> Sat, 06 Feb 2016 19:09:18 +0000
