Where to start? My advice would be somewhere else folks. Riverwind, or Neverwin, as many people call it is one big rip-off!!!

You will lose big. There are occasional winners I've watched come out of there... 98% of the time you will lose.

28 times in a row I tried to win there... 26 of those trips I never won a penny and the huge majority of spins were nothing at all... not even a nickel win on a spin.... just over and over, spin after spin, the reels payed nothing! That is pitiful!

If you lose long enough, you'll eventually hit a bonus round, which will also pay nothing for your effort. Slot machines that have a bonus feature should pay when you hit the bonus, after all you are paying more per spin for the bonus feature to be activated... but no, when you hit a bonus round after spending perhaps $50, you'll be rewarded for your efforts with a big $1.85 or maybe even $2.50.

This happens over and over... they are not going to payout, not now not ever folks...

They have even added a sign to all their doors which is absolutely arrogant and it reads like this.... This is the self-governed Chickasaw Nation... Unconquered and Unconquerable
Poor taste to post that all over the place.... leave that kinda sign for your indian powwow clubhouse.

The little short blond haired host fella is an absolute arrogant ass.... They will tell you they are the #1 casino in Oklahoma 4 years running..... errrrm NO they are not.... they are the most complained about though.

They are the greediest group in Oklahoma, and to watch the seniors on Wednesday is sad and depressing.... they never win a thing and you can see the looks on their faces, and some of those old folks are on fixed budgets and get robbed of them every Wednesday at Neverwin.....

Just stay away people, not worth the time you'll spend in there losing... go spend your entertainment dollars somewhere else.... Oklahoma has many nice attractions that aren't greedy Indian Casinos....

One of my recent favorite gambling books is Beat The Players by Las Vegas attorney Bob Nersesian, whose schtick is suing Nevada casinos that have committed outrageous torts against patrons. I recently heard of an incident that happened at a California Indian casino that is similar to many of the incidents in Nersesian's book:

A casino player is 86ed from the casino and told not to come back. The casino's marketing department nonetheless sends him mailers inviting him back, which legally vitiates the ban. But the hapless player is dragged from his slot machine, is carried into the back room, roughed up, his winning slot tickets confiscated. He is then turned over to the real cops who arrest him for trespassing.

In any other place except an Indian casino, the patron might have a good lawsuit for false arrest, false imprisonment, battery, conversion, etc. Or he might lose in court. But Indian tribes, and their commercial operations including casinos, are sovereign entities under the law. They can't be sued, except in their own tribal courts. They regulate their own games, and the state gaming commission cannot inspect them. If an Indian casino security guard were to unholster his weapon and shoot you dead, while he might possibly be subject to prosecution by the authorities, you still wouldn't be able to sue.

The U.S. Supreme Court has opined that Indian tribal sovereign immunity is an accident of legal precedent, not unlike organized baseball's antitrust exemption, but it will be up to Congress to overturn it. Of course, the vast amount of money that the tribes contribute to political campaigns ensures this will never happen.

Horrible tight slot machines! Went 7 times, lost 7 times! 20 dollars will last you 5 minutes (if even) at any slot machine. Spend 60 dollars to win a bonus, you will win 2 bucks!

Just don't go and maybe if everyone does this they will dry up and leave... worst thing to ever happen to Norman or OK for that matter. It is zero fun anymore. Their greed has blinded them to the point that they just dont care that every review about them is horrible. The slots are barely playable in many cases.... buttons broken, card reader not working... will take your money and then cant print a ticket so you have to wait for someone to walk by.... if you are using their card, the card reader will quit recognizing it after a minute or two, and then quit applying points to your account.... this happens on every single machine! If you are lucky enough to get a bonus round on one of their machines, which is extremely rare, the result of the bonus round will likely be a dollar or 2 literally every time. I actually had an employee standing by me while playing a game and commenting how ridiculous their gaming was that every spin was a losing spin every time and they laughed at me! Really?

Did you know that there is a feature called "near-miss" feature, which do not directly affect the odds of the game but lure players into playing longer. example where a slot machine would line up two 7s on the pay line and have the third 7 settle below the pay line making people think they were close to winning. Those kind of results are programmed into the machines on purpose. To make the customer feel as though they came very close to getting a jackpot and that perhaps the next one or the next one, would be ready to deliver? IGT does not do the near miss programming in their machines (so they say) but the machines purchased from other countries like China, Japan etc do.

This is illegal in all parts of the country like Nevada, Atlantic City..but no one is auditing the Indian gaming so go figure all these complains about Chickasha casinos not paying out and drowning people in gambling looses.
