Riverwind is in a downward spiral. This casino used to be the best in OKC. The 1 star ratings are a true representation of how terrible this place is. Their new motto should be "what losing feels like with terrible food and bad service".

The service and food are both good. I'm simply responding to all the negative comments because they all seem to be posted by people who are losing.

To David...you probably work for this casino. I can assure you my review is NOT based on winning or losing. There is more security in this place for a reason. This casino has crossed the line between entertainment and ripping people off. The buffet and Chips and Ales are dead most days leaving less than fresh food for any patrons. I stand by my 1 star rating and others that have done the same.

I totally agree that the buffet food is horrible, the casino employees are rude and the payouts are pathetic. They have set the payouts on the slot machines so low that whenever you win, the payout is still less than what you bet. Any machine that you win big on, they promptly remove. The gaming commission should take a closer look at these machines.

I went to Riverwind the first night they opened and for years afterwards and I have noticed a drastic decline in payouts. I used to be able to sit at one machine for hours winning and loosing but coming out ahead sometimes. If I walked out in the hole after several hours at least I could say I got to play and I had fun. They took out several games that you knew at least you would be able to sit at for awhile. But now whenever I decide to give it another chance I am never at one machine very long because it takes and takes and doesn’t give back. People have been calling it NeverWin for a couple of years now. Now I mostly go to the Grand. I get to play at one machine for a long while and I actually won $35,000.00 there in four different Jackpots in a weeks time.
