Spent over 30,000 dollars on slots here in 2 months (which I won at a different casino, so a different house’s money), and the most I ever got ahead was 4 grand when taking in 4-5 thousand dollars at a time. So the odds of winning seem pretty low overall.

Doubt I will ever return, since there are better casinos out there — better payouts, less smoke, and less tweakers.

I heard this casino was great once upon a time, but it’s pretty trashy now; however, if it paid well relative to how much I spent (even if I came out at a loss), I would wade through the some the muck to have a good time on some slots.

Also, I heard from someone that there is quasi-nepotism here, with family members of workers (such as an office accountant) being informed of “strategic gambling.” Could be bs, but with the low payouts I experienced, it is possible the best payouts are reserved for family and friends, or the most extremely lucky patrons that “hitch a ride” on a train meant for someone else, or a chosen few meant to obfuscate corruption. The lack of government oversight and transparency like in Las Vegas makes it all the easier.

Also, “general payout” rates can be altered via servers, which in turn affect casino machines’ “set” payout rate, with the relative difference between money in vs money out in a particular machine affecting a machine’s odds of paying more or less, or nothing (staying within the parameter of the machine’s governing payout rate combined with the more general payout rate governed by the casino’s servers — essentially a probability affecting another probability, affecting yet another probability, the last probability being the relative difference how much money a slot machine has spit out vs taken in). So “funny gambling” can take place as long as all three variables I just mentioned are known (casino payout rate; machine payout rate; cash in vs cash out ratio in machine — higher the better).

I suspect current management is just as “classy” as the majority of the clientele at this casino, and greedy to the extreme (good way to make money in the short run, but lose money in the long run as people lose interest). And I don’t blame the tribe specifically, but this particular casino and the people running it.

You have been warned.
