Beware of the rake! Bordertown Casino offers cheap poker tournaments every Monday, but the rake is insane! It costs $20 to play, $5 of which acts like a registration fee, except that it supports their bad beat jackpot and on top of that, the house takes 20% of the $15 that *should* go to the pot. This makes the rake 40%, of which only $12 of the initial $20 goes to the prize pool.
If you want a fair poker tournament, do not play at Bordertown Casino.
This is the best Casino and hotel resort around here. They have an amazing outdoor swimming pool and hot tub. I hope they add an indoor swimming pool for the winter. They are currently adding a new section. So excited to check it out. There rooms are bigger than most hotels. You'll want a higher floor if you want good WiFi. My family and I have been here many times and plan to come back many more times. There customor service is amazing. Check in and check out is super quick. At night they have a security guard right by the elevators which provides a more safe environment. I wish that they offer free rooms one time a year like Winstar does. I enjoy staying at Indigo sky casino.
