We stayed at another Casino and had a little or tiny more luck here than there. Love that they have Mississippi Stud card game.

The weather caused the electricity to go off and on throughout the evening but ended up going completely out around 7 p.m. This cause the ENTIRE casino to shut down. We had to wait at the slot machines we were playing for an employee to come take our name and telephone number. We were promised our money/winnings to be returned as soon as the company figured out the proper way to return the funds;this isn't ideal for travelers like me who live 3 hours away. The staff was extremely rude in the hotel area. After a back and forth "conversation" the manager FINALLY agreed to cut the lodging bill by 50% since we did not have hot water, no microwave, no fridge, no ice machine, no lights, and no heater of any kind as it was 29* outside and snowing! Finally, I've reviewed my credit card bill just to find I was charged DOUBLE and no refunds of ANY kind! We have gone to Vegas 3 times Reno once and we go to Louisiana a bunch. We have won more money at this casino than all the others combined. Only bad thing I got to say is if you don't call early enough in the week to get hotel you won't get a room. The Countryville Bar and Grill has the best casino food that I have eaten. We play slots. Very friendly people. This place use to pay until they decided to build a hotel and travel center. Most of their business comes from Wichita Falls and small towns like Walters, so I dont know what idiot sold them on building a hotel...NO ONE IS GOING TO STAY THERE! You might as well drive through the parking lot and throw your money out the window. You would get the same result and waste about the same amount of time. I've taken $100-200 on different occasions and have been broke within 20 minutes. Mind you I'm a very conservative gambler. I play penny machines betting 60-90 cents. You don't land on paying lines and forget about getting free spin or bonus. I honestly don't see how the gaming commission hasn't stepped in. The few jackpots you do see, which are always in the high rollers room, will be for $1200, $1600 which is crap considering those people are betting $10, $15, $25 a spin. I've seen several people carted off by police for beating machines and complaining to management....yes, it gets that serious, but what do you expect?. Try Apache in Lawton, about 45 minutes up I-44. This is about the fifth casino I have been to thus far. However; thanks to this site my wife and I visited this casino to check it out. It was nice well kept with plenty of slots. I don't do table games thus far, but there were table games and it appeared those playing were having fun. Staff was professional, helpful, and courteous. We won a quick $440 the first visit of about four hours (Saturday afternoon). Fairly light attendance at Casino in the afternoon. We left and returned later that evening and lost for a while before going back to the hotel and to sleep (Saturday evening). As one would expect it was much more crowded on Saturday evening, however; there was still room to move around and plenty of games to play. It is a large place with a lot of machines to play. We returned early the next morning (Sunday) and lost some more. As expected it was pretty empty on Sunday morning at 7:30AM. We could pick any game we wanted almost. Overall we had fun and won quickly, then played a long time on our winnings and some of the money we brought to lose. We did not leave empty handed, but would have liked to have left when I was in the positive. However; that is on us, although being new at this, it amazes me I could win $440 with only a $100 starting amount in less than a couple of hours, then spend the next eight to ten hours and never win big at all again. I know the risks and how it all works, but strange how fast it can turn on one. We had fun and would return though. There is no hotel at the site, but there are plenty within 20 miles that are easy to get to on I44. Sodas, coffee, and tea are free, and food (we didn't eat here) and alcohol (don't drink) were also available but I cannot comment on either.
