Visited last fall and enjoyed myself for the most part. But haven't been back because the minimums on table games are way too high for the average bet. I now drive a extra 1 hour to another casino because I can have a much more enjoyable betting experience because of smaller betting minimums. I also thought the slots were very tight over all. The food was great though a little pricey. If in the future they lower the minimum bet I certainly would consider returning for another visit. But until then I have too many other choices within driving distance.

When they lower the minimums I'll be back.

There is a wide variety of slots, however most machines are not flexible on how many lines you want to play, how much you want to bet per line, etc. Being a new casino, Horseshoe Cleveland has all of the most up to date machines. Slots here seem tighter than anywhere else I have been.
Thankfully 24 additional tables were added to the second floor. It was nearly impossible to sit down at a table game before. It is still tough to find a seat, especially during peak hours but I am glad that Horseshoe responded to this issue. Table limits are still too high. It would be nice to be able to play $10 blackjack and roulette. To give them some credit though, the tables are kept in good condition and the felt tops are replaced frequently, giving a crisp, clean presentation.
The gaming atmosphere is good, especially on weekends.
There is a buffet downstairs which is excellent at dinner time.

After several visits not much has changed since opening day. Personnel are friendly and helpful as always. Food at the buffet and sandwich outlets is good. Drinks on the floor can run upwards of 15-30 minutes from the drink servers. Diamond lounge is a joke, no food no big deal on drinks in fact bartenders don't always know how to mix common drinks. At times only 1 server for 50+ people so you can wait forever. Slots seem very "tight" compaired to other locations with most machines having frequent low pay outs lower than the amount you played and never seem to pay out anything big.

The casino itself is very nice. It's 2 floors of slots & table games, 1 floor poker room / 1 floor buffet.

Slots are very 'tight'. Probably because state law says minimum payout on machines only has to be 85% and I think they are probably at or close to this payout percentage. Very limited play time. And they have some really junk machines. The better machines are few and far between.

Drinks are sometimes hard to get if you use the ordering feature on the slot machine. If you want coffee, you cannot go to the bar. You have to order it from a machine or 'catch' a server. At the tables it's much better. Usually there is one roving 'order taker' with a tablet who takes the orders from the table and transmits it electronically to the 'drink server' who delivers the drinks. A bit more efficient.

Table games have unusually high minimums. Only table games I've seen with $5 minimums are Mississippi Stud and Three Card Poker. But this is usually early in the morning. Blackjack tables are usually $25 minimum except recently they had some $10 and $15 minimum tables. Many of the dealers are new and the procedures are not followed consistently by all dealers. Some dealers can't calculate payoffs. Some pit supervisors are also new. They also don't seem to follow the same procedure when recording buy-ins or table play time.

Buffet is okay. Nothing to write home about. And a bit on the pricey side. Service is not consistent. Servers bring drinks and sometime, even when the place is almost empty, it's hard to get a refill. They recently added lobster tails on Thursday evening for $8 extra. Not a bad deal. Haven't had it yet but reviews seem to be mostly favorable.

Overall, I would give it a 'C'. I've seen better and I've seen worse.
