My wife and I have been going to casinos all over the country for about 40 years. We were happy that Ohio finally got casinos so we didn't have to travel very far. We've been going to the Hollywood and Scioto Downs in Columbus from the first day they opened. We've averaged going to these casinos about 2 or 3 times per week. The slots seemed to play OK, not great, for the first 3 years they we're open. Then at the end of 2015 we noticed that the slots played a little differently. We talked with many people who we saw frequently at the casinos and many of them noticed the difference too. One day I was talking with a lady about the casinos and she mentioned that her fiancee was in management at Hollywood and he told her that Hollywood and the other casinos did lower their pay out percentage at the end of 2015. I have been trying to convince my wife that it is not in our best interest to continue to go to Hollywood or Scioto Downs anymore, but we are senior citizens and this is her entertainment. These places would have close their doors if it wasn't for senior citizens. They are ripping off seniors. My recommendation is that everybody should stay away from these places until they raise their pay out rate. They are nothing but HIGH PRICED VIDEO ARCADES FOR ADULTS.
