Retired and relocated to DL, the new slot machines were a big improvement but too bad Dunseith's sky dancer casino's slot machines were not in Devil Lake and vice versa? Also the free play is a joke! The people who live far away seem to get teaser free play promotions but it's not worth the drive to Devils Lake unless gas money is included? I'm sure updated casino slots at the Devils Lake casino will not be updated for years?? Perhaps the Devils Lake casino upper management can travel to Dakota Magic Casino and Sky Dancer casino and see what they have for slots and remove and replace the old slots at the Devils Lake casino with newer slots!! There's a lot of wasted space at the Devils Lake casino with them older slots that nobody ever plays!
This casino location is beautiful. I love coming here to eat. The slots are ok just like any other casino sometimes they pay and sometimes they don't. I won and lost but always enjoyed gambling here.
I do not recommend this little casino. Stay away, the worst payouts I have ever seen and I been to a lot of casinos. They have Horrible hotel rooms also. Everything was broke in the room. Slots all I can say is wow lol, I guess they don't like to pay people here. They just take your money really quick unless you own a farm and have thousands to spent stay away from these slots. I know casinos always win but this place is ridiculous, most casinos allow people to have fun and have paybacks but not this casino. Overall stay away from Spirit Lake casino unless you want to donate to them.
I am a regular player at this casino because I live in the town of DL. I have enjoyed coming here to play. But the last few months the slots have been very tight. I know people don't always win in a casino but it has been really bad lately. No playbacks, some slots have bonus rounds and even those do not pay very much. I suggest lossen a few slots and players will return to gamble more. Employees should be professional and friendly and not stand around and talk about players. They really need new slot machines very old slots here. I lost so much money here but I don't mind it because some days I would have good days so I would return to play. Because of the atmosphere of the casino and how the slots have been so tight, I will not return here this winter. Also they have drawings every month and as much as play I never won once not one promotion yet some people win ever month. I have been noticing the same people win drawings and on slots also. I sure wish I was one of them. I wonder if my players club card isn't working lol. Overall tough place to win and hopefully they will have updates soon and better promotions until then I will not return during the winter. Maybe next summer this casino will be better with new slots.
