We just attended the $10,000 bingo games on 4/19. We played the Million Dollar Games and had a good time so we decided to come back. To start, I want to make it clear we're not lightweighters when it comes to playing bingo. Between my sister and myself, we spent approximately $1,200 to play all of the games (mini sessions, early birds, superminis, main session, specials, MP, etc). I can't imagine what people spent who played the electronic bingo machines!

The day started out good. We played the early games and had our meal, which was included in the price of admission. The meal was cafeteria style but it was decent. As we played the warmup games (the set immediately prior to the main session) we started to get excited for the chance to win $10,000.

The main session started and almost immediately people started having trouble with the electronic bingo machines. Each time there was a problem the caller would announce that the game would have to be held. This happened over and over and over again for the entire session. There were no less than 48 times that the session was held up (we know this because people counted and kept track)! As a result of the technical difficulties with the electronic bingo machines the session ran over by well over two hours.

The session was not enjoyable by any stretch of the imagination. This sentiment was shared by the 1,000+ other patrons in the bingo hall. There is no excuse for this level of system disruption. Some of the bingo hall staff confirmed that bingo hall management has known about the problems with wireless connectivity and the electronic bingo machines for months. The right thing to do would have been to not sell the machines but greed clearly won that battle. Management felt that getting every single dollar out of electronic sales was worth more than having a smooth bingo session. The expression of complacency on management's faces while all of this was going on is confirmation that this was an expectation rather than an unexpected occurrence.

Finally, for the best part of the whole experience. The new management of the bingo hall, a man and a woman (not Bingo Bob as he was referred to), made an announcement that due to the inconvenience, all players were going to be compensated. This compensation would not be based on how much a person spent but rather it was a flat amount. That amount: 200 points. If you're familiar with Turning Stone's new system that equals $2.00 worth of comps. The kicker was that the comps wouldn't be available for two days. You couldn't even use the comps after the session. Unfreakinbelievable.

There are a lot of reviews on here that speak of how tight the machines are at Turning Stone. What happened at the $10,000 games is just another example of that greed manifesting itself and driving patrons away in the process. We will not return to Turning Stone and we encourage others to do the same.

We have been visiting the casino since it opened.
My husband and I received a $100.00 gift card from our son, for Christmas. He knows that we enjoy playing the slot machines, as we have done in the past with the gift card that we receive..
At the cage, we were informed that this gift card was good only at the shops, hotels or for food and gas. We couldn't believe that our son wasn't told this upon purchasing the card.. We live 45 minutes away from the casino. We use our karats for food. We don't buy anything at the over priced shops. We are in our 70's and we go only for the slot machines.
This was a big disappointment to us. We have to use the card so we decided that getting gas was the only thing that made sense to us.
We know that in the end the casino will win but now, we don't even win enough to get excited about. Our free plays are a joke, as they are gone in minutes.

I don't play the slot machines at Turning Stone unless they send me "freeplay" to play with. That being said, I thuroughly enjoy myself playing blackjack at TS. They give me whatever comps I ask for, including discounted or free rooms, free packs of cigarettes all day and night, and free food. They also have 2-deck blackjack now which I have done well at.
The rooms in the hotel are nice, but the rooms in the Tower are just gorgeous! My one complaint would be the late check in time of 3pm.
The buffet is very good, although not as good as it was when they first opened. I have also eaten at Emeralds, which is sort of dinner/burger joint. I give them a thumbs down as it's really not very good food. As I like to get back to the tables ASAP, I usually eat at the buffet and have yet to try any of the nicer restaurant.

Slots super tight with bonuses paying you a couple bucks if u actually hit one. Haven't walked out of there with money in years. They try to get you in the door with weak free plays like $15 to empty your wallet and back out the door in a few minutes. Can't wait for lago to open in February
