We have played at this casino for several years. The hotel is comfortable and clean. The casino has gotten really really tight. Hit several bonuses like 15 to 30 free games on the 15 got less than $5.00 on the 30 was $3.20. They need to loosen the slots really does not make a person want to come back!ask questions at players club alittle on cranky side about answering.

I live 10 miles from this casino and I have been coming here since the opening day, but lately in the last 4 years we can not hit anything above $100 and we play $1'or $2 bets. We spend about $500 each a month gambling and we are retired so it nice when we win so we could go back but that does not happen anymore. I thought our luck had been so we started to go to the downs of Albuquerque and my wife won $1100, the next month I won $800 and usually hit something for $200 each month. That has not happened to us at Route 66 in years and it not just us. I ask friends and they are in the same situation, sure they give away all these gifts but I would rather have a jackpot once in a while so that we could play more. We pass the casino by and instead we go to the downs for better luck. It's too bad because we liked 66 casino but we keep giving and no return. Lastly, on July 2015 I hit a jackpot at the downs for $4200
