The casino has changed in the past few years. Look at the photos, it shows the restaurant before Gordon Ramsay's. That's at least 4 years old. That's not the only thing. ]]> Thu, 24 Sep 2020 23:50:57 +0000 <![CDATA[Caesars Atlantic City: LOVE CAESAR'S!!!!]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/new-jersey/caesars-atlantic-city.html/discussions/2507080 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/new-jersey/caesars-atlantic-city.html/discussions/2507080 We are diamond members at Caesars and we absolutely love it! We find that even though the website may not show that many offers, if you inquire with your casino host you are probably eligible for a lot more than you think! 2 floors of gaming- a lot to choose from! Employees always remember us and welcome us back- super friendly - very clean casino! Good restaurant choices and the diamond and seven star lounge are VERY nice! The Centurion and Ocean Towers are great and updated, I agree with previous reviewers that the Temple Tower needs to be updated!! Its in the center of the boardwalk and our favorite casino! The comments on here about it not being busy, the summer is usually packed but in the winter, with casinos in PA, DE and NY popping up everywhere, its very sad that its taking away from AC business. ]]> Sat, 09 Aug 2014 17:00:55 +0000 <![CDATA[Caesars Atlantic City: Poor Offers/Promotions]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/new-jersey/caesars-atlantic-city.html/discussions/2506859 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/new-jersey/caesars-atlantic-city.html/discussions/2506859 I've been to Caesars AC a few times since Atlantic Club closed down and although they have a nice selection of slot machines, the offers are very poor compared to other AC casinos. I was given immediate Diamond Card status upon my first visit and despite going through a good chunk of change on two separate visits, I have yet to see any offers or bonuses come through. So if you're looking for good promotions and/or offers, I would stay clear of Caesars and go elsewhere. ]]> Fri, 21 Feb 2014 16:55:09 +0000 <![CDATA[Caesars Atlantic City: NOT WHAT IT USED TO BE]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/new-jersey/caesars-atlantic-city.html/discussions/2504816 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/new-jersey/caesars-atlantic-city.html/discussions/2504816 My sister and I usually visit this AC property once or twice a month. We are platinum level players. We normally accrue about 400-500 points per visit. We used to get two free buffets twice a month and about $35 in free slot play. It seems now they want to use your points for their buffet which on a Thursday was bad. Our last few visits have been pleh pleh pleh, my sister's word for not good. There was a person sleeping at a machine and the security people just overlooked it. There was a panhandler roaming around the floor. This is winter and thy are slow so this should be caught and corrected. The crowd on a recent Thursday was pathetic. It seems a lot of our friends have bid adieu to Julius and his casino. I guess the bean counters have taken over. No more play from us. We're sticking to Vegas twice a year. ]]> Fri, 25 Nov 2011 19:31:09 +0000 <![CDATA[Caesars Atlantic City: Big place with super Diamond Club]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/new-jersey/caesars-atlantic-city.html/discussions/2504664 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/new-jersey/caesars-atlantic-city.html/discussions/2504664 The Diamond Club at Caesars is one of the best with a view of the boardwalk/beach. Food in the Diamond Club was excellent. Much better food than Caesars' buffet (which was not good on a Thursday.) The gaming floor is huge There are 2 floors of gaming. Smoking and non-smoking sections and tables are available. Had a nice time there. Location is greatest. Rooms not so nice from what I saw. Hotel guests can take the free shuttle to see the other Harrah's properties. ]]> Wed, 26 Oct 2011 22:06:05 +0000 <![CDATA[Caesars Atlantic City: So so]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/new-jersey/caesars-atlantic-city.html/discussions/2504605 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/new-jersey/caesars-atlantic-city.html/discussions/2504605 My biggest problem with Caesars is the attitudes of some of its employees. I've had a waitress give me a lecture on Chinese medicine because I have to take pills for diabetes. I've had the parking clerk threaten to call the police on me because she wouldn't take my parking voucher and I refused to pay. I've had a clueless reservation agent tell me that I should pay for my room instead of getting it comped. Many of their employees don't realize that I can go elsewhere. Also the table minimums can be ridiculous. On a slow weekday morning in winter, the lowest blackjack table was $25. The good thing is that it is the easiest casino in town to get to since it's almost right off the Atlantic City Expressway. ]]> Tue, 25 Oct 2011 17:54:46 +0000 <![CDATA[Caesars Atlantic City: love the action @ Caesars]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/new-jersey/caesars-atlantic-city.html/discussions/2504545 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/new-jersey/caesars-atlantic-city.html/discussions/2504545 Coming down that escalator and being able to view the action at all the craps tables around you is just the best for me. I want more good Video Poker than they have and I am always in a line at the cashier. The buffet is very nice and good quality. A bit laid back and intimate if that is even possible at a buffet. ]]> Wed, 12 Oct 2011 02:07:58 +0000 <![CDATA[Caesars Atlantic City: Careful in the High Limit Area]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/new-jersey/caesars-atlantic-city.html/discussions/2504360 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/new-jersey/caesars-atlantic-city.html/discussions/2504360 Careful when you play in the high limit slot area. We are diamond status members and spend thousands in the high limit area playing slots from $25 to $100. On our last trip August 20, 2011 we observed that a 7 star member asked an employee to shut down a $100 machine so she can play it later. I had 1000's in that machine and was going to try myself again. However, the machine was now "reserved" for that person, and therefore the gaming odds were changed for everyone else. This is not illegal but highly questionable conduct. I requested to speak to a manager because. Took forever but the floor manager showed up because I had repeatably asked and insisted to see a manager. The floor manager endorsed the employees behavior and told me that sometimes machines are reserved for 7 star players when they go to the restroom or dinner. In this case however the lady was 10 feet from us playing other machines. The good odds on that machine were waiting for her and were not available for the rest of you people. MAKE SURE YOU GET FAIR ODDS AND ARE NOT CHEATED OUT OF YOUR CHANCE TO WIN IN FAVOR OF ONE OF THEIR 7 - STAR MEMBERS. ]]> Sun, 28 Aug 2011 21:13:05 +0000 <![CDATA[Caesars Atlantic City: Great experience]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/new-jersey/caesars-atlantic-city.html/discussions/2503718 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/new-jersey/caesars-atlantic-city.html/discussions/2503718 First visit, Dec 14-16, 2010. We are Seven Stars and the room was comped. Very nice room, good beds, great TV and bath. Would have liked to have had more than two glasses - they were with the ice bucket, none in bathroom. VIP reception very friendly and helpful. We are slot players and ran about $9,000 through the slots and video poker with a total loss of $600. Diamond lounge is great, much better than Caesars Palace Las Vegas in terms of size, quality and variety of food, and overall environment. The only restaurant we used was Cafe Roma, the 24 hour coffee shop that is much more than that. Breakfast was excellent - my wife had steak and eggs that were perfect, I had the buffet, it wasn't extensive but the quality was super, especially the scrambled eggs. Had dinner there and the variety on the menu was more than adequate and the quality of the dishes we had was superior. The service was excellent. We will return. ]]> Fri, 17 Dec 2010 22:04:26 +0000 <![CDATA[Caesars Atlantic City: Not too Bad]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/new-jersey/caesars-atlantic-city.html/discussions/2502914 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/new-jersey/caesars-atlantic-city.html/discussions/2502914 I am a Quarter slot player. I have visited this property two times in 2009. On my first visit I hit some good jackpots. On my next visit they took my money back. The atmosphere was very good. I have gambled all over the country, but this is the first casino that I was accousted while playing a machine for money by a panhandler. I reported it to security and they didn't seem concerned. The hotel rooms were very nice. One thing that confused me about their food service was that during the week their buffet was closed for breakfast. We had to go over to Bally's to eat breakfast. On my first visit the buffet was open for breakfast over the weekend. The food wasn't very good for a Caesar's property. Overall this property is not too bad. I have stayed at a lot worse. ]]> Thu, 14 Jan 2010 11:11:11 +0000
