I get asorr mim. of 600 tier pts.each trip! Now i earned platimum status , ( not by getting a credit card). I keep trying to get a room but i am told nothing available for a comp, room! I have a problem walking so Ballys tower is perfect for me! For some reason Ballys is not taking care of their faithful visiters! We eat, sleep and play at Ballys! Conventioneers spend hardly nothing compared to what we do, yet they, are pampered as are the young crowd who drink free and get bombed spending nothing., i am frustrated and i guess my friends and I will have to find our enjoyment elsewhere as many others have! Sorry i have always enjoyed Ballys , its a shame you are ruining it for the real supporters of the casino! ]]> Thu, 09 Jul 2015 01:48:08 +0000 <![CDATA[Bally's Atlantic City: Just awful]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/new-jersey/ballys-atlantic-city.html/discussions/2507005 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/new-jersey/ballys-atlantic-city.html/discussions/2507005 Just took my wife and daughter to vacation in AC stayed @ Bally, so dissapointed. Room was ok was surprise to have refrig no microwave? Really generic. Staff kinda rude except for one housekeeper lady. Also notice security on game floor mean and ignorant, looking @ you like ya gonna steal. Never felt comfortable or welcomed, and as far as slots no comment. One big gimmick, Every casino on boardwalk we played slots @ totally tight , atmosphere horrible cross the board should have stayed in PA.. Never AGAIN ... ]]> Thu, 05 Jun 2014 05:11:28 +0000 <![CDATA[Bally's Atlantic City: Bally's is a good stay and play]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/new-jersey/ballys-atlantic-city.html/discussions/2506737 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/new-jersey/ballys-atlantic-city.html/discussions/2506737 Bally's is in a great center boardwalk location, The casino games are pretty standard in A.C., but there are some good progressives and full pay video poker. The poker room is way up on 4th level by escalator but gets plenty of player traffic. The buffet is closed, but the indoor pool and spa were nice. I enjoyed my stay at Bally's. ]]> Thu, 26 Dec 2013 18:43:54 +0000 <![CDATA[Bally's Atlantic City: It was ok]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/new-jersey/ballys-atlantic-city.html/discussions/2505653 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/new-jersey/ballys-atlantic-city.html/discussions/2505653 Stayed here last week since they had given me two rooms for free which we're located in the Claridge so were not the greatest rooms but hey can't beat comped really. I was in Atlantic City back in January of this year and I thought the wild west portion of the Casino was going down hill then well this visit it really went down hill. There are only a few machines left there in the wild west portion of the casino. Where there were slots it's now boarded off and I heard that the buffet is closing shortly as well. I spent 200 dollars in the slots and have nothing to show for it either. ]]> Tue, 12 Jun 2012 03:10:54 +0000 <![CDATA[Bally's Atlantic City: Not good customer service]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/new-jersey/ballys-atlantic-city.html/discussions/2505279 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/new-jersey/ballys-atlantic-city.html/discussions/2505279 I have a slot bonus ticket which I got by paying the bus fee once. But I did not bring my Id with me. They told me I can come next time and get it. I came today. But they said if I want to get it I have to pay for their bus again, which I did not. I think it is reasonable to get this bonus since I already paid it. I am not sure I will go to atlantic city again, so I probably will never get this bonus. Really nothing more to say about their service. They just really do not care about their customers. very cold attitude. ]]> Mon, 27 Feb 2012 03:10:00 +0000 <![CDATA[Bally's Atlantic City: Great Location]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/new-jersey/ballys-atlantic-city.html/discussions/2504636 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/new-jersey/ballys-atlantic-city.html/discussions/2504636 The best thing this place has going is the location. It's a great center of the boardwalk spot. Bally's is two junky hotels hodge-podged together to make one just ok hotel. There is a fee to access the indoor pool, and it looks like a time machine took you to 1984 once you get in (think Miami Vice). Bally's tries with decent promotions and the buffet is ok if you get a half off coupon. ]]> Tue, 25 Oct 2011 20:40:20 +0000 <![CDATA[Bally's Atlantic City: Bally's is in the center of the action]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/new-jersey/ballys-atlantic-city.html/discussions/2504544 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/new-jersey/ballys-atlantic-city.html/discussions/2504544 Well, I took my buddy Doug who is an extra (Dancer) in Boardwalk Empire for his birthday to AC and had to pay thru the nose for a Friday night, but it was fine. Some great VP & table action. What I didn't like was the Wild West Buffet..ugh !!! It was one of the most thoroughly miserable breakfast buffets I have ever seen. I think they had an omelet station. one. NO waffles. NO waffles? Come on! The overall quality was very, very disappointing. Better to hump over to Caesars and be treated like a Roman conqueror rather than a starving cowboy. I DO LIKE the roaming tables through the Wild West casino and easy access to the other casinos. And I kept wanting to get my slot card checked, but the line was always like 30 minutes. Screw that. ]]> Wed, 12 Oct 2011 02:03:53 +0000 <![CDATA[Bally's Atlantic City: Favorite Total Rewards Property in AC]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/new-jersey/ballys-atlantic-city.html/discussions/2504511 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/new-jersey/ballys-atlantic-city.html/discussions/2504511 Bally's is now my favorite Total Rewards Property in Atlantic City. The Virginia City Buffet is a good value as far as Atlantic City standards go. The snack bar downstairs in the Virginia City Casino is good for a quick bite and the bar downstairs is fun and reasonably priced. Their video poker selection is the best of the Total Rewards properties and the casino is within walking distance of the outlets and The White House Sub Shop (a must for each of our visits)! ]]> Wed, 05 Oct 2011 00:38:45 +0000 <![CDATA[Bally's Atlantic City: Get casino terrible rooms]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/new-jersey/ballys-atlantic-city.html/discussions/2503230 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/new-jersey/ballys-atlantic-city.html/discussions/2503230 The table games here are great but the slots don't seem to ever hit for more than $20. I have eaten at the Virginia city buffet a few times and never had any problems. Johnny Rockets is also a good place to eat cheap and the food is really good. With the players card it seems to take forever to earn the next level but the comps they give you each month are pretty good (free rooms sunday thur thursday or $30 free play). The rooms in Bally's are nice rooms but the last two times I stayed I got rooms in the claridge which are the worst rooms I've ever stayed in. The worst part is I had hotel reservations for the upgraded room and when I got there they down graded my room to the basic room and STILL CHARGED ME THE UPGRADED PRICE. When trying to talk to someone they didn't give me any help. The customer service is horrible. Never stay here unless you are given a free room. Now all I do is take $20 and play a little roulette and then leave so I take their money instead of them taking mine. ]]> Sat, 01 May 2010 21:04:38 +0000 <![CDATA[Bally's Atlantic City: Never Win]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/new-jersey/ballys-atlantic-city.html/discussions/2502600 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/new-jersey/ballys-atlantic-city.html/discussions/2502600

I have gambled in Bally's for years, Platium Card holder never won a penny in that place. Hit in other Casino's not for much but I won something. Bally's and Harrah's took out all the fun slot machines, it seems that these new machines are set for you to spend more money and never let you win.

Have you notice that the slot machines spin differently? The pause and the over spin, I had a machine almost hit and the wheel just skipped, the person next to me could not believe what they saw the machine do. I laughed ,when I read someone wrote, you can't win on these machines they put $100 bill in the slot machine and never went into the bonus round.

That is so funny yet so true. I now tell my friends who love to gamble to go to P.A. or Yonkers they still have slot machines that let you win. And I also agree with the Claridge haters, the place is a dump. The Bally's rooms are very nice, not always clean.
