Just took my wife and daughter to vacation in AC stayed @ Bally, so dissapointed. Room was ok was surprise to have refrig no microwave? Really generic. Staff kinda rude except for one housekeeper lady. Also notice security on game floor mean and ignorant, looking @ you like ya gonna steal. Never felt comfortable or welcomed, and as far as slots no comment. One big gimmick, Every casino on boardwalk we played slots @ totally tight , atmosphere horrible cross the board should have stayed in PA.. Never AGAIN ...

We will never again stay at Ballys in AC. They closed our favorite restaurant (barbeque). They took away the omelette maker at the 15 dollar breakfast buffet and generally messed up the food service. The lowlight of our last (and final) visit was sending a steak back at the buffet for being overcooked and watching the partially eaten one end up back on the grill.

We were put in the Claridge and the room was barely up to Day's Inn standards. I noticed that all blackjack tables on the main floor have rules that are detrimental to the player. I played for 90 minutes at a 25 dollar table with bets ranging from 25 to 50 dollars and received all of 3 dollars in comps. There is no reason whatsoever to stay or play there when the Borgata is just a ten minute drive away. Their food and service and table games are far superior and they still comp you a decent amount if you give them enough play during the day.

I have been a slot player at Ballys for over 20 years, most of that time a diamond card holder, until last.year!, my friends and I visited once ot twice a month! I get asorr mim. of 600 tier pts.each trip! Now i earned platimum status , ( not by getting a credit card). I keep trying to get a room but i am told nothing available for a comp, room! I have a problem walking so Ballys tower is perfect for me! For some reason Ballys is not taking care of their faithful visiters! We eat, sleep and play at Ballys! Conventioneers spend hardly nothing compared to what we do, yet they, are pampered as are the young crowd who drink free and get bombed spending nothing., i am frustrated and i guess my friends and I will have to find our enjoyment elsewhere as many others have! Sorry i have always enjoyed Ballys , its a shame you are ruining it for the real supporters of the casino!

The table games here are great but the slots don't seem to ever hit for more than $20. I have eaten at the Virginia city buffet a few times and never had any problems. Johnny Rockets is also a good place to eat cheap and the food is really good.

With the players card it seems to take forever to earn the next level but the comps they give you each month are pretty good (free rooms sunday thur thursday or $30 free play). The rooms in Bally's are nice rooms but the last two times I stayed I got rooms in the claridge which are the worst rooms I've ever stayed in.

The worst part is I had hotel reservations for the upgraded room and when I got there they down graded my room to the basic room and STILL CHARGED ME THE UPGRADED PRICE. When trying to talk to someone they didn't give me any help. The customer service is horrible. Never stay here unless you are given a free room. Now all I do is take $20 and play a little roulette and then leave so I take their money instead of them taking mine.

I'm a frequent visitor to Atlantic City and Bally's is one of my favorite casinos. I receive frequent mail regarding free rooms and free money on my total rewards card. For the past year, they have offered me $15 weekly and my friend $25 weekly. When i first signed up for their card they offered a free room with 30 minutes of play and sure enough it was true. If you are booking a room just be aware that the rooms in the Claridge Hotel are less glamorous but the rooms in Ballys are fantastic. Rooms are cheap during the week and if you play its more likely that you'll only get a free room during the week. Weekend prices are a lot more expensive but that is the same with every casino.

Ballys also has great places to eat. My favorite place is the noodle place on the casino floor which is open 24hrs a day. With all the comp dollars I have accumulated I have never paid for a meal.

Another thing that I like about Bally's is that it is connected to the Wild Wild West Casino which is a totally different atmosphere. Wild West has a country theme to it and Caesars Casino is connected to it too so you can travel throughout these three places without ever going outside which is a plus if you are booking in the winter.

I have been to other casinos where it is near impossible to get a drink on a friday or saturday night but Bally's doesn't keep you waiting long.

Bally's is also in a great location in Atlantic City. It's close to everything! The outlets aren't too far away and its located at the middle of the boardwalk. There is an amusement park which is open when it gets warm which is probably a 10-12minute walk away.
