Awesome pool area although very crowed usually. Decent video poker and a nice area to play.

The casino and other areas of the hotel are very beautifully decorated. We booked a room and paid an extra $20-40 per night to be upgraded to a parlor suite. Our AC was broken when we got to the room but maintenance fixed it very quickly.

The casino is the most beautiful on Fremont street and has average games. The video poker is pretty good. I won about $100 from playing VP for just a few minutes. Also, I never had a losing session of craps and one night I played until 4 am. The only game where I lost a lot of money was blackjack. All in all, I was only $50 down after many hours of gambling.

Overall, I think this is the best hotel on Fremont Street, but there are better odds in other casinos, but better than the Strip for sure!

The pool and buffet are excellent. The casino is a little tight, but does have 8/5 bonus video poker for a quarter. The poker room is usually pretty busy and there are some good coupons in the ACG book for the Golden Nugget.

Paid way too much money for a room with a shower that is almost impossible to get in and out of, a bathroom with no towel bars, a hairdryer that had to be replaced twice, a safe that wouldn't open one night as we were on our way out (got to spend an hour of our evening "watching" security people attempt to open it), and almost no easy-to-reach electrical outlets. In order to access our floor, we had to use our keycard in the elevator. More than 1/2 the time, the keycard didn't work, so we would have to trek over the the VIP office to have it re-keyed so that we could get to our room. All too often when we got to our room, again, the keycard was very "stubborn" and on one occasion we had to again return to the VIP center to get one that functioned. Way too much work for what was supposed to be a fun get-away. For the price we paid, we will be trying a different hotel on our next visit to Las Vegas. Very disappointing and frustrating.

Thats what they are calling it. Not a resort fee. Again my ratings are based on their downtown competitors. They have a shark tank that you can swim through
and the huge gold nugget. In addition you can purchase gold there from a machine.

Its players club is not that generous, and its best vp is 8/5. It has the best rooms, pool area and side attractions in downtown. The best amenities, I like their breakfast buffet, mmm smoked salmon. They may start charging a resort fee,
So you may want to try it before it becomes more expensive.

The casino is crowded and small like most downtown places. The poker room is o.k. but only runs 1/2 NL - 2/4/L and some tourneys. They used to run 3-6 but they don't try to hard at it these days but binion's has started running more limit games lately. The nugget does have 8/5/bonus V.P. but don't expect many comps from playing there.

Slot machines were cold as ice and stayed that way for three days and two nights. Hotel was hosting a conference and must have turned the machines off. I was quite unhappy with my experience and I will not be coming back.

Great table games, slots, and all around atmosphere. The dining options are good as well. They have a very good cafe, and a solid buffet which is one of the better ones in downtown Vegas.

Make sure you check out the large Golden Nugget while you're there.

Of course the Fremont Street Experience canopy is right outside the door, a must see. The Golden Nugget is like being on the strip with all the advantages of downtown.
