<![CDATA[Orleans Hotel & Casino, The - American Casino Guide Casino Reviews]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/ <![CDATA[Orleans Hotel & Casino, The: The Orleans Hotel & Casino]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/nevada/orleans-hotel-a-casino-the.html/discussions/2509871 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/nevada/orleans-hotel-a-casino-the.html/discussions/2509871 The flair and flavor of the famed “Big Easy” meets the fun and dazzle of Las Vegas at this unique property. At The Orleans Hotel & Casino, you can celebrate Mardi Gras 365 days a year. Located west of the Las Vegas Strip, The Orleans Hotel & Casino is a Mardi Gras-themed hotel and gaming center. It offers guests the best of both worlds: the lights, gambling, and location of Las Vegas alongside the attitude, cuisine, and aesthetic of New Orleans. Guest rooms are fitted with air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, flat screen TVs, and coffee-making facilities. The hotel offers a 24 hour front desk, room service, and a concierge, to make your visit even more pleasant. The property also features a pool and breakfast. Guests arriving by vehicle have access to free parking. To relax, guests can visit Spa Orleans or lounge poolside with a frozen cocktail. Spectacular views from the hotel face the glittering Las Vegas Strip or the sweeping mountain panoramas surrounding the Las Vegas Valley. And with the 9,000-seat Orleans Arena and our 800-seat showroom, The Orleans has established itself as a leading destination for live entertainment in the Valley. Dining is extra special at Orleans Hotel & Casino. The newly remodeled Prime Rib Loft, offers the same great service, same great food! The Prime Rib Loft is primed for hearty appetites! Overlooking the bustling casino action, it is definitely "Fine dining at its Prime!" The restaurant's comfortable and attractive ambiance combines with its reasonably priced, superb menu to make this specialty dining room a must during every visit to The Orleans. True to its name, the Prime Rib Loft is famous for its delectable cuts of prime rib - the Orleans, English Cut, Cajun Style and the Real Beefeater Cut (an extra thick double cut with bone)- all specially selected and dry aged to ensure tenderness, then seasoned and slowly roasted for incredible flavor. All prime rib selections are served with a giant baked potato AND your choice of bacon bits, butter, sour cream and chives. Alder & Birch offers cocktails and steaks the way nature intended. The casual elegance of Alder & Birch celebrates American Tradition with steaks and classic entrees. Alder & Birch features an assortment of shared plates, hand crafted cocktails, house made ginger beers, prime steaks, and classic American entrees. If you're looking for something more casual I suggest Ondori Asian Kitchen, one of my top three Asian restaurants in Las Vegas. Start with the Garlic Scallion Chicken Wings. Follow that with Chicken Lo Mein and then Beef Chow Fun with Black Bean sauce. Outstanding! I also suggest Bailiwick. Bailiwick is an experience for all, with entertainment and cool happenings, live bands, and, ever expanding food & drink options. The lounge offers a social hour with bite-sized dishes to share, specialty cocktails, with 40 beers on draft and a selected range of specialty and limited craft bottled beers guaranteed to satisfy your thirst. Their dine-in menu serves small bites and large entrees featuring unique tastes. Sit back, enjoy great food, fun drinks and unwind with friends in a fun, casual entertaining environment. Their Chicken Wings (meaty bone-in wings and drumettes bourbon bbq, mango habanero, garlic parmesan, or buffalo sauce) are incredible. Chef's Features include Prime Rib, Filet Mignon, Ribeye Steak and Steak & Lobster. All are fantastic. Close to some of Las Vegas' most popular landmarks, such as T-Mobile Arena (1.6 mi) and Bellagio Fountains (1.6 mi), Orleans Las Vegas is a great destination for tourists and locals alike. If you’re looking for something to do, The Gallery at Aria, Art of Richard MacDonald, and Skye Art Gallery are a nice way to spend some time. ]]> Tue, 22 Jun 2021 17:35:51 +0000 <![CDATA[Orleans Hotel & Casino, The: a very nice hotel/casino]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/nevada/orleans-hotel-a-casino-the.html/discussions/2506809 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/nevada/orleans-hotel-a-casino-the.html/discussions/2506809 I had the lunch buffet, a step up from the Gold Coast. Al's is good and I live on the Gulf Coast. A very large casino with a large amount of slots. Could use a little more full pay vp. Solid CW service, and the services are always done cheerfully. Good senior day which is now on Wednesdays. ]]> Sat, 01 Feb 2014 15:20:35 +0000 <![CDATA[Orleans Hotel & Casino, The: Great Value for the Money]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/nevada/orleans-hotel-a-casino-the.html/discussions/2506595 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/nevada/orleans-hotel-a-casino-the.html/discussions/2506595 Have stayed here several times and have always had a good experience. Rooms are large and very well priced, comfortable beds. Good variety on the gaming floor, lunch buffet is a great value. Customer service has been very good all around. Self-Parking is not particularly convenient to the rooms, but the property is easily navigated. Several restaurants from which to choose -- Canal Street is very good. Only four or five options in their food court, but they're decent (Fuddrucker's, Sbarro, Baskin-Robbins, Subway, & ?). Points seem to add up fast on the player's club card -- opportunities for 2 - 15x points. Promotions and drawings every week. Enjoy! ]]> Tue, 10 Sep 2013 20:57:33 +0000 <![CDATA[Orleans Hotel & Casino, The: Very Good!]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/nevada/orleans-hotel-a-casino-the.html/discussions/2506505 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/nevada/orleans-hotel-a-casino-the.html/discussions/2506505 Nice senior day, saw the superman movie for $4. Wish they had FPJOB. Enjoy the ACES Bonus. CW service is solid. I ate the lunch buffet its pretty good: enjoyed a cannoli. The place is clean and friendly. No smoking on second floor, there is a arcade and child service up there. For a regular guy this is a good deal. ]]> Wed, 17 Jul 2013 14:11:56 +0000 <![CDATA[Orleans Hotel & Casino, The: Nice casino off the strip]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/nevada/orleans-hotel-a-casino-the.html/discussions/2506455 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/nevada/orleans-hotel-a-casino-the.html/discussions/2506455 We stayed here a couple of nights during our last trip to Vegas. I wasn't expecting much, just cheap. I was pleasantly surprised. First the casino is laid out bizarrely. You really can't just park near the hotel tower or the front desk. You have to show your room key to security before you can get in the elevator, which is a plus. The rooms were on the large size. And the beds were comfortable. We ate at the buffet for breakfast, again not expecting much. But it was one of the best breakfast buffets that I've done in Vegas. And the gambling was good. The dealers were professional. I would definitely visit again. ]]> Mon, 17 Jun 2013 15:32:31 +0000 <![CDATA[Orleans Hotel & Casino, The: Pretty good deal]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/nevada/orleans-hotel-a-casino-the.html/discussions/2506371 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/nevada/orleans-hotel-a-casino-the.html/discussions/2506371 Pretty neat deals here especially for the over 50 crowd which I am one of. They have a senior day usually on Tuesday, play a little and get a movie ticket for four dollars. Boyd club so the benefits are decent and pretty easy to understand. Lots of good food choices. Very attractive theme and clean also. ]]> Sat, 13 Apr 2013 01:23:29 +0000 <![CDATA[Orleans Hotel & Casino, The: O.K. at the Orleans]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/nevada/orleans-hotel-a-casino-the.html/discussions/2506317 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/nevada/orleans-hotel-a-casino-the.html/discussions/2506317 The rooms are big, and so is the pool. The video poker should be better since this is an off-strip property, but there is some full pay. The bars have 8/5 bonus and there are some progressives. The poker room is popular with the locals, not so much with the tourists. Parking is easy and the free shuttle to strip is great. ]]> Tue, 12 Mar 2013 19:51:04 +0000 <![CDATA[Orleans Hotel & Casino, The: My Favorite Casino]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/nevada/orleans-hotel-a-casino-the.html/discussions/2506312 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/nevada/orleans-hotel-a-casino-the.html/discussions/2506312 I go to Vegas at least 5 times a year (from Florida) and stay 10 days or longer each trip. I like staying at the Orleans or its sister casino, The Gold Coast, but the Orleans is my favorite. Not only do I get great room rates but they have more slots than any casino in Vegas. They keep up to date on their slot games, not like many of the better known casinos which rarely add new games. I love the breakfast buffet and the over-sized rooms. My only complaint is the towels really stink from smoke....seems like they could wash non-smoking towels separately. I am going to start traveling with a bottle of Fabreze. ]]> Mon, 11 Mar 2013 21:09:09 +0000 <![CDATA[Orleans Hotel & Casino, The: great casino]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/nevada/orleans-hotel-a-casino-the.html/discussions/2506310 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/nevada/orleans-hotel-a-casino-the.html/discussions/2506310 Great customer service at check in desk, cocktail service never had anything but good service, in addition players club personnel very helpful. Video poker very good except for JOB. I have eaten at Al's Oyster Bar and Fudruckers both were very good. I have heard that the buffet has gone downhill. they have a movie house and an arcade a very nice pool area. ]]> Mon, 11 Mar 2013 03:35:23 +0000 <![CDATA[Orleans Hotel & Casino, The: Oleans - Great Casino - Top on my list to go to! It's a very large casino and I enjoy it all the time I spend there. Many restaurants. If you play poker, you will also LOVE this casino, as the poker room is huge. This casino is very convenient for all walks. THe customer Service is absolutely the BEST! Can't go wrong at this casino. You'll leave there, go to another, and then right away want to return to the Orleans! Try it, you'll like it, I PROMISE YOU! ]]> Sun, 27 Jan 2013 06:23:45 +0000
