Poor variety of games and not great rules or pay tables. Joined their text club for a $10 bonus slot play which they text to you. But the player club refused to honor it, they blamed the vendor for sending it out. Not much reason to go back there. ]]> Thu, 06 Feb 2014 22:07:33 +0000 <![CDATA[OYO Hotel & Casino Las Vegas: Decent stay and play]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/nevada/hooters-casino-hotel.html/discussions/2506608 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/nevada/hooters-casino-hotel.html/discussions/2506608 I used a two-night hotel comp here in June. Hotel-wise, nothing bad, nothing great--clean room, the usual amenities, good Internet connection. It was what I wanted, a clean, free place to stay, near the MGM megaplaces and the Trop without paying their prices. Friendly hotel personnel. Food--Good roast beast and sides at the Mad Onion, good late-night wings and cold beer at the Hooters (plus the usual eye candy). You know what to expect. Gaming--They were remodeling part of the casino while I was there, so getting around was interesting, but otherwise, about as expected. Friendly personnel, not the usual "I work as a corporate drone" types. The craps dealers knew their stuff, which is not always the case, even in Vegas. They didn't play the usual slowdown, mess-with-the-shooter games when someone was hot. Overall--This isn't the MGM or similar places. No one comes here to be seen or to show off. I wouldn't necessarily spend a week here, but for a couple of days, quite pleasant. ]]> Fri, 20 Sep 2013 06:12:32 +0000 <![CDATA[OYO Hotel & Casino Las Vegas: hooters is a hoot]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/nevada/hooters-casino-hotel.html/discussions/2506088 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/nevada/hooters-casino-hotel.html/discussions/2506088 Good video poker full pay at .25 level, they used to have it at nickel level. The CW service has always been very good and good to look at obviously ha, ha. Seriously the CW service was efficient and very friendly. Rooms were decent not great but the price is good also. I plan on spending some time there in December. ]]> Wed, 31 Oct 2012 02:04:05 +0000 <![CDATA[OYO Hotel & Casino Las Vegas: Great Place]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/nevada/hooters-casino-hotel.html/discussions/2504567 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/nevada/hooters-casino-hotel.html/discussions/2504567 I stayed at Hooter Casino Hotel from October 3rd-13th, 2011. I was very pleased and will defiantly be back again. The rooms were clean and roomy, the pool was nice and heated. When you check in you get free food coupons, I ate at Hooters every day I was there and the Mad Onion inside Hooters a few times. Once you get through the weekend the weekday rates are pretty cheap so I stayed a week and a half. Most of the dealers wore Hooters girls outfits, I don't play slots but they had a good amount of them, I play Blackjack which they had I think 4 tables including a $3 table 24/7. If you want to play games they don't have it's a short walk to other Casinos without having to pay their high room rates. ]]> Sun, 16 Oct 2011 03:16:49 +0000 <![CDATA[OYO Hotel & Casino Las Vegas: Hooters]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/nevada/hooters-casino-hotel.html/discussions/2504468 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/nevada/hooters-casino-hotel.html/discussions/2504468 We stayed at the Hooters Casino Hotel once when they sent us a free room offer which included a free breakfast for two. The food was OK, the room seemed old and the casino didn't have a lot of the slots that we like to play. The only good thing was the blackjack dealers were Hooters girls. ]]> Mon, 26 Sep 2011 18:42:28 +0000 <![CDATA[OYO Hotel & Casino Las Vegas: Forgettable]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/nevada/hooters-casino-hotel.html/discussions/2501744 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/nevada/hooters-casino-hotel.html/discussions/2501744 Visited this place 7/8/08. Not much fun. Stood in line half an hour to get a players card. The free slot play for new members is a joke.

The whole building is cramped and crowded. We played slots and gave them our money.

I wanted some souvenirs but everything was overpriced. I also wanted a Hooters tank top but the largest size was large. The t-shirts I saw were $30. We won't be back. ]]>

<![CDATA[OYO Hotel & Casino Las Vegas: Not great!]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/nevada/hooters-casino-hotel.html/discussions/486 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/nevada/hooters-casino-hotel.html/discussions/486 Signed up for their slot club and it started to go downhill from there. Had a girl start to sign us up and she decided she needed a break before she finished with us so another girl took over. I got most of the information from a girl registering more players that were next to me. Our host didn't tell us squat

Just didn't like the feel of the casino. It looked cheap and filled with mostly 25 year old males hoping to get a peek at something????

Played the slots and didn't get drink service at all. Went to the bar and ordered the most expense drink I'd ever had in vegas $8 rum and coke. Won't go back! ]]>

<![CDATA[OYO Hotel & Casino Las Vegas: Fun Place]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/nevada/hooters-casino-hotel.html/discussions/160 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/nevada/hooters-casino-hotel.html/discussions/160 Just returned from a trip to Las Vegas and visited the relatively new Hooters casino/motel. It's a fun place with good but not special food, friendly staff and a good variety of games. If you play video poker, I would stay away, the few machines they have are poor pay schedules. ]]> Sun, 01 Jan 2006 00:00:00 +0000
