The Nugget, Lakeside and this casino are all owned by the same company. The games in all are so tight, they actually squeak. The Nugget and Gold have awful food, but the Lakeside is okay. Just not impressed at all and will not go back to Nugget and Gold, maybe to eat at Lakeside but don't waste your money on slots.

They had a small pit of table games and had $2 blackjack that paid 3 to 2. We stopped by recently on a trip back from Death Valley. The table game pit is gone. It's all slots, video poker, and a bingo hall. They were having a drawing so there were a lot of people, but none of them were playing. I liked it better before. ]]> Sun, 16 Jun 2013 16:54:59 +0000 <![CDATA[Gold Town Casino: Fun and Adventure]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/nevada/gold-town-casino.html/discussions/2505183 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/nevada/gold-town-casino.html/discussions/2505183 Drove to Pahrump after spending some time at the Tecopa Hot Springs nearby. I had never been there so I thought I should go and see what I was missing. The town is kind of run down with vacant new housing developments that are getting vandalized, so there are rough spots in town. I ended up spending the day living inside this casino and never made it to the others to check out. I was mesmerized by the thrill of the wins and did not see the losses. Lots of men around, as prostitution is legal here and I'm sure some are combining gambling and business trips together, as they were not into casual conversation. I went to the restaurant after spending so much money all day and before my three hour drive home-- and the hostess refused service. She said only card member were allowed to eat, as she eyed me snidely. She was very rude. So I left hungry. My brother used to live in Vegas and said he preferred to come up to Pahrump for their table games and atmosphere. I would go back again but would be sure to get the player's card next time. It's kind of a perfect fit for me, the artists of Tecopa and the games in Pahrump. ]]> Sat, 11 Feb 2012 07:55:43 +0000
