I haven't stayed in the north tower, ever so I don't know. The Magnolia cafe is very good and on the lower berth is one of the finest places to eat Hugo's Cellar. I have always enjoyed slot gaming here. No matter where I stay I make sure to hit the slots often finding good fortune. Everyone you come in contact with is Excellent front desk to drink waitresss. Generous rewards program. Nice little gift ship & mini food court. The rooms feel dated now but always clean, comfy beds, coffee in the room, safe, mini fridge, hair dryer, ironing board and iron in room. These little touches make up for some of what it lacks. I had the canal street special for breakfast french toast etc. Very Good. Good gambling as always. Good CW service. Lost overall, but won over $300 on MegaBucks. Enjoyed a great breakfast at the Magnolia Cafe, used a 2 for one. Played roulette with bonus chips. Won $15 tipped $5. this was my first time at the roulette and MegaBucks. Mostly VP. Great variety in food choices.
