Staff was friendly but not much else good to say about the hotel. Our room was in the Manor, which was a hike from the casino floor. It was not very clean and we had some issues with the air conditioning. They even have some 99% and higher video poker games here. They recently closed the poker room, It wasn't getting a lot of action lately but was one of the oldest running rooms in town. The hotel is geared towards families, so there are swarms of children in the non-gaming areas. I am sure that there is an entrance to hell buried somewhere on the property. Half the time, I get lost coming in from the garage. I never seem to come in the same way twice in a row. This place is crawling with kids. Not just kids, small kids. So if you are looking for an adult escape this isn't the place. The table games are in a creepy little pit. And they don't have a shuffler for pai gow poker. She deals out seven piles and then rolls the dice to see where the first pile goes. I have never seen anything like it anywhere else. And somehow, I actually have accrued a few bucks in comps here, so they must comp better than other strip properties. The only reason to come here is for The Steakhouse. It is on the expensive side (we spent $170 on 2 of us the last time), but definitely worth the occasional splurge. The king crab appetizer is the best crab legs that I have ever had anywhere. I think that since they're the only place in Vegas that caters to families now, they have pretty much given up on anything else. The Pink Pony restaurant is gone and their poker room almost never has more than 1 table playing a limit game. If you have kids the circus acts and the carnival midway upstairs are still the best thing in Las Vegas for the kids. And of course, they still have the amusement park which I haven't seen in years but I'm sure it's fun for the kids.
