Just got back from a 4 day stay. Casino was huge and filled with great new slots and lots of table games.



There are three hotels,one is attached to casino but the other two are about 1/2 mile away. There is shuttle service between hotels and casino and it runs 24 hours. Never waited more than 5 minutes for one. They come pretty fast and furious!

Excellent staff and service.





One downside..I did not want to eat breakfast in the buffet! They do not have a coffee shop that serves breakfast whenever you want it. Good food choices for lunch and dinner but NOT for breakfast. This really turned me off.





Great trip otherwise...stay here if you don't like breakfast.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights.



There are three hotels, one is next to the casino and the other two are about a 1/2-mile away. Free shuttle service is provided from the outlying hotels.



We stayed at the Terrace Hotel and, like most Harrah's properties we've stayed at, it was very nice.



We had lunch at the Paula Deen buffet and it was excellent. A large variety of tasty southern-style foods and a fantastic selection of desserts.



The video poker paytables were not especially good, so we didn't gamble too much here. Other than that, we would highly recommend a visit to the buffet or staying in the hotels.

I returned today from a 2-night stay at Harrah's Veranda hotel where we were supposed to be in an "upgraded" room. It was beautiful overlooking a gorgeous swimming pool. The telephone did not work as there was a hole in the wall where the jack should have been so there was no way to call the front desk to let them know that we had no coffee or cups in the room. The pool was not open due to 'it rained this morning so the pool won't be open today.' ? Part of our deal was to be able to go to the comedy club which only has shows Thursday through Sunday and we arrived on Sunday after the last show started. The shuttle drivers told us that the shuttle runs every 10-15 minutes 24 hours a day but when we were ready to leave the casino at 3:00 am we were told that the shuttle would be there at 4:00 am. The explanation we were given was, I swear to you, "yes, the shuttle runs every 10-15 minutes, 24 hours a day until 2:00 am." Clearly, 24-hours-a-day does not mean what it used to... Slots paid NOTHING at Harrahs so we played at Horseshoe and had a good time with exception of the smoke. I will be so happy when the whole world goes smoke free. Paula Deen's Restaurant was excellent. I will not return to Harrah's Tunica hotel or casino again. There are too many other Good choices.

The Hotel Room was dirty. I was charged for internet service and the computer system was down for upgrading...so I could not get on but was still charged for it.. and was told that there was nothing that they could do..
I will never return to this place.

This was the deal breaker for any future trips to Tunica or Harrah's. I used to go to Tunica all the time and stay at Gold Strike. The last time we went there we were not happy for various reasons so we decided to try Harrah's in Tunica. Our hotel was nowhere near the main hotel. The building where they put us was a reasonably clean property but it had no restaurants, no casino, no nothing (other than the room). To get to the hotel we either had to drive or take a shuttle bus. The worst aspect of this is that THEY NEVER TOLD US THIS! When we made our reservations they caused us to believe we were staying at HARRAH'S and talked about all the amenities. The LEAST they could have done was ADMIT that we were staying in some building a mile away from the casino!

Since this wasn't the only issue I sent an email to Harrah's when we arrived home explaining all the problems we had there and believe me, there were many in addition to the location of our room. Harrah's NEVER responded. I even sent it a second time with a note telling them I never got a response and that I'd appreciate their at least acknowledging receipt of my email. Nothing. They refuse to admit they even received my message.

I have thrown my card away and will never set foot an another Harrah's property. And that includes about 35% of all casinos. Fine by me.
