Very poor experience. I was kicked out of Greektown because i wasnt playing slots. We were approached very unprofessionally. While being escorted out, one of the lovely young security guards began to flirt with one of the guys we were with. Highly unprofessional. I have never been kicked out of greektown before for lounging and having a good time. Either they have changed the rules or we were truly picked on. On top of that it was a Sunday. I have no desire to visit greektown again. So disappointed. If you plan on going to have a drink and mingle for more than an hour, try somewhere else other than greektown.

my wife and I came here for my 30th birthday and we got the slots early in the morning and what happened next I still can't believe.. I was playing a progress .25 cent slot and won the jackpot then ten minutes later I won another jackpot on a dollar slot.. then my wife was playing on a penny slot and she won the jackpot on that machine... But the hotel sucks ass.. don't stay here..

Their customer service reps make you feel like you are an interruption to their time, consistently showing a lack of interest in your being there. They also add an extra step between paying for chips and receiving them that no other casino in MI has-why? Who knows, but it isn't to make you feel like they want your business. Oh, and if you need to use the bathroom, better hope noone else does cuz 1 stall & 1 urinal for a poker room full of guys is all they have. And if you arrive any less than 15 minutes prior to a tournament, they'd rather turn you away than take your money and let you play. Add to these things that you have to get your parking validated or pay up, the terrible food in the poker room and at the casino deli, and the utter refusals to provide inflrmation on tournament blind levels and you have an all around terrible experience. We spent over $300 for a room. The room did not have a working thermostat that we tried to call the front desk about FIVE TIMES, and they never answered (even when I tried calling from my cell phone and not my $300+ room) at check out I expressed my disappointment to Joseph who seemed ill equipped to deal with any complaint since he didn't even ask how my stay was. After I told him about room 2917 having a broken air conditioner on the 29th floor when it was 85 degrees and humid at night with NO ANSWER at the desk he gave me a card For Natalie the supervisor and said to call her, who has not returned my phone call STILL. I would NEVER RECOMMEND greektown casino EVER... An issue like the room temperature I can understand but with no concern/follow up or customer service solution after spending OVER $300 for ONE NIGHT... I then started going to MGM Detroit back in may and have gone there more then greektown the lasts 5 months but now I know why I like greektown better then MGM. I have hit a few nice jack pots at MGM but the people including staff are totally rude, There is always people play the slots I like and it seems like its always the same people for hours on end playing, Not to mention they play 2 slots at once.
