Win or Lose, the employees and management of this casino is Horrible. If you would like to have a good gambling experience and be treated with respect and valued as a customer I highly recommend you choose another Maryland Casino
Highest state tax rate in the nation (67%) makes this casino a quick visit for your playing dollars. Jackpot payouts (If you should get one) are very low. It pays to drive to Atlantic City (Casino State tax rate 8%)to get the greatest number of play hours or to Charlestown, WV (Casino State tax rate 54%) which is a little better if the drive to AC is too long. On line gambling will soon impact the greed of state law makers who control State Casinos. But large Casinos with reasonable payouts will still draw in players as fun places to lose and will survive.
This place is off I-95 between Baltimore and Wilmington. If you're in the area, Delaware Park is only 30 minutes away and a much better deal.
The buffet is crummy like all Hollywood Casinos. I've been here twice, and even when we were here on New Year's Eve there was no excitement. The second time I got a new comp card since I didn't have mine (it was an unexpected stop). She had to put all my info in again since it didn't take the first time.
And the slots here just don't seem to payout. This may because Maryland slot parlors have lower payouts (feel the same way about Ocean Downs too). But not someplace you should seek out.
