Golden Nugget great for hotel room suites and food and ambiance , slot play seems very tight compared to gambling at Lauberge and Delta and I usually high roller exclusively. We spent a year at each and Delta by far is better for us in winnings. Lauberge second. Nugget always had the better free play by far than the other two , probably as they take a greater percentage rake, who knows. I refuse to visit a casino unless I am comped room/food etc due to the amount we play. That drops quickly if you do not visit as often and eventually play comps disappear completely. What is weird we get offers from Nugget Fremont Vegas all the time ( we stop by when in Vegas) but now zero offers from Golden Nugget La. Since they quit sending us offers over a 1 1/2 years ago we moved to Lauberge and then Delta Downs to play exclusively. Lauberge had awful comps and free play for the longest out of the three casinos. Now as of late 2020 Lauberge seems like they have been offering more then they used to as we receive promos in mail for much bigger free play per visit and we have not played there for a long while. Delta comps food/rooms/ gifts are great with our slot host, only one restaurant is good and that is Rosewater Grill. We see hand pays on a regular basis at Delta, rarely at the other two, unless in high roller room. Delta high roller is the best I found for us, hand pays for days in there and we like the older 3 reel non computerized machines, which they offer a good assortment. Nugget has mostly computerized in their high roller , and I had spent a lot of money in there but not much luck. Wish Delta had table games, that is the one thing I miss when there. Great casino, restaurants and amenities! I always have a great time during every visit and look forward to my return next month. I honestly don't understand the "sour grapes" reviews posted... nobody should expect to win at every casino. It's entertainment, not a source of income. Set limits and stick to them.

Don't ever come eat there buffet ! Food terrible look like pig food. Mr .Tillman does not care about his food there ! My second time eat buffet here I thought they improved there food, I guest He does not give a dame what's people thing ! I will never come back until he change his way for this place. No one has won anything all the times we went. Not only that no one saw anyone win anything. The slots are the tightest slots with the worst odds I have ever seen at any casino.
