There is not even any play on the slots Put a$20.00 and figure out what does because doesn’t do anything but suck money in $100.00 in under half hour. Fun and play HA NOT HERE what a waste of gas and money. Ownersahould be made to play there own slot. So many trips of same crap. We use to go weekly now maybe once every couple of months. AND ONLY PLAY MIMIMUM. WOULD NEVER SUGGEST GOING HERE TO ANYONE.

When this casino first opened, their payback was 92%. That was one of the best in the state, though still somewhere you don't want to go too often. They have gradually dropped to now a bit above 89%, the third WORST in the state and closing fast. To add insult to injury, they have been beating to death their new "Play more, be happy!" advertising campaign over the last couple years. I think it started about the time they cut the slot club points by over half.
I think this place actually has a chance to go out of business once they have bled all the suckers and addicts dry. That's saying something for a casino with no nearby competition. They want their customers money as QUICKLY as possible, entertainment be damned. Play more, go bankrupt faster is more like it!
I live in waterloo and have been to the isle several times. Believe me, its worth the 90 minute drive to go elsewhere, slots are so tight. Hundred dollars gone in thirty minutes with nothing, the average pay back on quarters is, eight quarters, (if your lucky.)
Buffet is terrible always cold and food has been sitting awhile. If you want to gamble any length of time, I recomend to go elsewhere.
The Isle in Waterloo is listed as a riverboat on the Mississippi River; however, it is a large land-based casino and hotel about 90 miles west of the Mississippi River. The hotel rooms are very nice. The machines are still quite tight, but they do have a good variety. The Player's Club is also the cashier so plan on waiting in line.
