We have visited all the casinos in Indiana and French Lick is by far the best. Customer services is great, casino is clean, non smoking is huge compared to the main floor, high limits is large also considering the overall casino size. Players club is the best in the state, they appreciate your play. The latest themes in slots are everywhere and they still have a respectable selection of the old classics. The hotel, amenities, food, drink, all great. If you get tired or gaming or hit your budget you can go bowl, ride horses, hike some trails, golf on a world class golf course, shop in the resort or across the street, and I could go on, just go see for yourself, its a great time.

<![CDATA[French Lick Resort: Not worth going!!]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/indiana/french-lick-resort-casino.html/discussions/2509239 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/indiana/french-lick-resort-casino.html/discussions/2509239
The Casino is a small room with old, faded, slot machines that, even the Manager admitted to us, often malfunction. The atmosphere is cold, the decor is dull, sterile, and dumpy and, on Memorial Day (a major holiday), there weren't 50 people in the room. As first time players at this Casino, we were given $10 each of free play but, were given incorrect verbal instructions, a long list of written instructions to which machines did not function accordingly, and we lost $20 of free play with two spins. When asked to speak to a Manager, a man and woman came forward repeating over and over what should have happened----moot point when it didn't? When asked what they would do about the situation, the woman blurted, "I said I was sorry." Not a single attempt for customer service compensation, a hand shake, lunch, or even a free drink at the bar was offered. We had been in the Casino only 20 minutes and left vowing never to return to it or to French Lick that has nothing to offer but golf, a water park, food venues, bars, and liquor stores. The Casino's continuous response to negative online comments is always, "We apologize for not meeting your expectations. We wish you the best wherever you play." THAT'S CUSTOMER SERVICE IN A SMALL TOWN! This privately owned Casino obviously has no idea what it takes to create a great customer experience. We will enjoy playing in other Casinos throughout Canada and the U.S. They have better decor, exiting atmospheres, the newest functioning machines, and know how to host their guests to a good time, especially if something goes wrong.

<![CDATA[French Lick Resort: Slots seem to be real tight]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/indiana/french-lick-resort-casino.html/discussions/2508366 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/indiana/french-lick-resort-casino.html/discussions/2508366
We use to love coming to French Lick but anymore we just can't do any good at all. The Double Gold $1 machines use to be fun til you guys moved them and the ones on the wall now aren't the same ones that use to be scattered around. The one's that we use to play you could play $1.00 or $2 or $5 or 50 cents. Their no where there. Also we have tried everyday of the week and still never win. The slot's are very tight. We live a lot closer to Horseshoe Casino but always before enjoyed the drive to French Lick. Wish you guy's would adjust the machines to the way they use to be. Haven't seen a Jack Pot pay off in a long time. Just a thought.

The smaller nonsmoking area has no outside access. You are forced to walk through the smoking area to play in a much smaller room. There is no bar in the nonsmoking area. Didn't stay long enough to rate anything more than the building as we were already smelling of smoke. It's quite obvious they cater to smokers and nonsmokers are an after thought.

The hotel and restaurants are very nice and very clear. Parking is very ample and didn't have any issues parking outside of the garage. (I had a canoe on my vehicle).

It was on 2nd level in the garage by the handicap spots. Please mark that so no one else will get hurt. Casino and Events Center look as if they have been added. Plenty of parking. Multi story parking ramp and acres of outdoor parking. Casino has both live table games and some mechanical ones. Video poker is not full pay but you can find machines that are not unreasonably bad. Non smoking area is large and has good selection. The "smoking" casino area is light and airy and smoke doesn't seem to be a problem. Two restaurants - a snack bar and a cafe. The snack bar looked expensive but the cafe was very reasonably priced. ]]> Wed, 24 Aug 2011 22:00:08 +0000 <![CDATA[French Lick Resort: Comps]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/indiana/french-lick-resort-casino.html/discussions/2504215 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/indiana/french-lick-resort-casino.html/discussions/2504215 comps are practically zero. The casino was small but lavish. People were friendly with reasonable minimums on table games. Most slot players will find something to their liking.

The casino is a must see especially with its historic architecture. We all had a good time and would go back.

<![CDATA[French Lick Resort: Lifestyles of the Rich and infamous.]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/indiana/french-lick-resort-casino.html/discussions/2501804 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/indiana/french-lick-resort-casino.html/discussions/2501804 Well, French Lick was one of Al Capone's hangouts, and the very rich and famous. This place is in a class all by itsself compared to other casinos in Indiana. The hotel is luxury all by itsself. The buffet is to die for. The beds are unlike any in Indiana. Once you lay down, you don't want to get up. This place actually has a nice casino, but with the huge overhead, the machines aren't nice. The comps are hard to earn. The attitude there is simple, if you're rich with plenty of disposable income, this is your place. It's in the middle of nowhere and hard to find without a map or navigation device. If you're under 60 years old, you'll be among the youngest there. Benchmark spent a lot of money to open this place, it shows, they've done a great job, everyone should visit at least once. Maybe you'll see Robin Leach.... ]]> Sun, 10 Aug 2008 11:26:37 +0000 <![CDATA[French Lick Resort: French Lick Casino]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/indiana/french-lick-resort-casino.html/discussions/14 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/indiana/french-lick-resort-casino.html/discussions/14 Small casino. Video poker pay tables only fair. Nice bar with video poker and several TVs for watching sports. Staff is friendly. Hotel rooms are fair. Eateries are good and prices are fair. ]]> Sun, 01 Jan 2006 00:00:00 +0000
