VIP at Rivers Casino, stands for: View Idiot Person. When the Casino opened, it was possible to win. 3 years later... you can drop hundreds to thousands of dollars and leave there without a dollar in your wallet.
Depressing place to play, people are disgusted and out-raged by the constant loosing here.
Spoke to GM and his attitude was very poor, when you treat your high rollers poorly, then the average player is definitely not being treated well at all.
Staff people are wonderful but they too remark on the management style, most recently a employee mentioned a new rating system that evaluates their job, one strike and you are OUT. If an employer treats
their employees BAD, then my expectation of being treated well as a V.I.P. is not REALISTIC.
I AM TURNED OFF 200%. Does the GM care,,,, NO.

ON MAY 28,I WENT TO RIVERS CASINO IN Des Plaines.I SET DOWN BY A MACHINE I WAS WAITING FOR,AT THE SAME TIME A MAN SAT DOWN ALSO.HE PUSHED ME AND I PUSHED BACK, IM A WOMEN 80 YRS OLD.THAN JUST LIKE THAT HE CALLED ME A C*** AND A B****.I FELT SO TRAUMATIZED AND INSULTED TO MY SOUL.I WENT TO REPORT IT TO SECURITY.I WAS CRYING,SECURITY CAME AND TOOK ME IN THE BACK ROOM,TOOK ABOUT 5 PICTURES OF ME ALL BECAUSE I GAVE HIM A SLAP ON HIS HEAD AFTER HE CALLED ME THEM NAMES.SECURITY HAD ME SIT THERE FOR 1HRS AT LEAST.SARA HALL SAID THAT SHE WILL TALK TO BOTH OF US IT NEVER HAPPEN THE POLICE CAME AND HANDED ME A TICKED $250.00 PAYED THAT IT WAS FOR DISTURBING THE PEACE, NOTHING WAS DISTURBING IN THE CASINO BY ME.I FELT LIKE A CRIMINAL.I LOST A EYE TO MELANOMA.SO I CAN NOT SEE TO THE LEFT WHERE HE CAME FROM.I HOPE I CAN GET MY $250.00 BACK.AND ALSO MY GOOD NAME.
