Took a trip there on Wednesday after saying months ago I was never going to step foot in there again. 500$ bankroll. First up, Dragon Link. 300$ in. 5 cent version, 2.50$ bet. Straight down to 8 dollars where I got my first coin bonus. Won 18$ when I was down 292$. Then, straight to 0. Next up, Dancing Drums. 100 in. 1.76$ bet minimum. Straight down to 20 dollars where I decided to do my last 2 spins on 8.88$ max bet. Bonus. 0$ win. Last up, and last 100$ on Buffalo Grand. 1.60$ bet. Straight to 0$, no bonus, and my highest win was 2.80$. Stormed out of there as usual. Next morning, checked my wild card promo page, and I accumulated 0$ bounce back free play. I lost 500$ in 30 minutes, and got nothing back. Screw this place. Same thing every trip. No playability at all.

I want to share this with anyone that even thinks that they want to go over and gamble at the Hard Rock in Tampa, Don't go the place sucks they will strip you of your cash in less time than it take to drive there, Your money has no playability there unless you get real lucky from the start then good luck leaving with anything because the next machine will do the reverse even faster, I play mostly high limit slots and almost always lose my butt, I also play to the point I am and have been a Wild X-Card Exclusive player for longer than I care to remember, If you are lucky and get a spin on a slot like the $100 Wheel of Fortune you will almost always get a $2500 bonus but that is after you put in $5000+ so guess where that $2500 goes trying to get back what you are still behind, If you play $200 Top Dollar same thing happens you put in $7000+ then get a $2000 Top Dollar bonus if you even get one, Then go to a game like the $300 sevens and see how that works out for you, Trust me when I tell you that the Penney machines are even worse especially if you play max bet like I do you will see everyone around you that is playing minimum bet or close hitting bonus after bonus but not winning anything so the put it back in and you will get nothing and if you do it will most likely be less than your bet and lets just say max bet on some of the multi denomination machines will make you cringe because they are as much or more than most of the high limit games hence the reason I mostly play high limit slots exclusively, Now as far as prices for food go yes it's crazy and the drink prices are completely nuts but I will say they are comps to me like the Plum Lounge so I can't count them but I still pay for them 1000 fold with my losses, The two things that make me the most upset about the place other than the payout percentage-but I can fix that myself if stop going, ! 1) The fact that a few years ago you can no longer use your earned comp dollars in the food court because they want you to only use one of there restaurants and not pay the people in the food court for food that you get as they are rented not casino owned, 2) The other is the fact that they take comp dollars away that you earned if you don't use them up, Example I used to be able to accumulate 1,000,000+ points and then buy things that I actually wanted from a catalogue not now I have to use up my points in the casino owned stores and pay triple for things that I don't really want or need, Think about the last two statements and like I said I'm a X-Card holder and still get no respect I'm only a number that is only as good as the number I loose...! Most everyone I used to know with X-Cards no longer go to the place or can't because they lost everything, Hmm I think it's about time for me to do the first before I end up like the last, No I did not use my real name for this review it's not Zappa
Went to Rock Saturday for my birthday, ate at new location, The Rez. The food and service were excellent. 2 appetizers, fried chicken, shrimp/grits, pork French dip, 2 deserts came to $130.00. A little bit pricey with no steaks. They charge $20 to valet and they've reduced the size of the free coffee. How money hungry to you have to be to shrink the free coffee cups. Oh yea, hit maybe 4 bonus spins in 5 hours of play. Same old shit.
After a 5 month no slots hiatus of not going because I never win, I decided to go back for my birthday today. Having 600 bucks for a bankroll, I thought I'd play, then hit the Fresh Harvest for dinner. Got there at 12:30pm. 1:24pm, I'm in my car totally pissed off. Slots just sucked every penny I had down to 0 without one bonus, oh, excuse me, one bonus on a 2.50 bet and won 2.80. Dead spins the entire time on every slot. Nothing has changed. I should of went to Disney World for the day. You don't get play-ability at all. Place sucks.
I've been playing slots for a very long time. You have your good days and you have your bad days. Even on bad days when you lose, you at least get some playability. Up, down, bonus' then crash. At the Tampa hard rock, you lose. No ups, just downs, no bonus', you just lose. Think of it as having 10 hundreds, a thousand bucks, and flipping your vacuum cleaner over and every 3 minutes putting a 100 into the vacuum cleaner. That is what you will get for playability at this place. They also do not reward locals or give a rats ass if you come back.
