Went for years every weekend. Stopped going cold turkey a few months ago. Why? The comps stopped. Every month, I looked forward to going online to check what comps I have for the month. Used to be meal vouchers, usually 50 bucks free play on average, along with some mystery free play days. It all just stopped even though I was spending just as much money as before. Last 4 months, my comps for the month are empty, not one dollar free play. Oh, excuse me, I am offered a slot tournament. Now, a slot tournament at the Tampa Hard Rock consists of getting there a few hours early, and playing for a few hours, then hoping your name is called to play in the tournament. By then, you've spent hundreds of dollars because nothing pays out only to not have your name called. I've questioned this at the players club, and they only say the THR uses a calculation to determine your free play every month. Sorry, bullshit. Unless I get as much as 20 cheesy dollars free play again, I will never go back. Not like they care, they have no competition and are packed 24/7. Also only casino I've never left with money ahead unless I left before losing my entire bankroll.

I have to laugh at the review below me. Your review is about everybody complaining about how the casino can be better and your answer is expect to lose. Wow. Just goes to show that your review is from the Hard Rock itself. They already have trip advisor paid off and also Yelp. This is the only site they haven't tainted but it looks like it's about to start. Here are the facts about The Hard Rock in Tampa and you can use common sense with the facts to get the truth. 1 fact is they don't have to answer to nobody. They have no state gaming commission to keep them in line and to obey the laws. 2 fact. Its the most profitable casino in this country. All the casinos in Law Vegas combined made just a little bit more than what the Seminole hard rock made. Now that alone should tell you that this place does not pay out at all. Think about it and I will say it again. In 2017 the entire las Vegas strip meaning all the casinos their combined took in 6 billion to where hard rock took in 4 billion but I'm sure it was a lot more because they are not going to tell you or the white man how much they really made..That's 1 casino bringing in 4billion compared to all the casinos combined in Vegas which took in 6 billion. Use your common sense. This place is nothing but an illegal monopoly in Florida backed by the sorry crooked ass politicians who get paid off. Every single customer of the Hard Rock wants other casinos to come. Every single customer of the Hard Rock hates them. Imagine having a company and your customers despise you and hates you and the only reason why u have their business is because there is no other place to go to,,,thank the crooked politicians for that. I still can't wait for the day when competition is allowed because when that happens kiss Hard Rock goodbye because you won't have any faithful customers since they all hate you for being robbed all the time.
I see a lot of people complaining this casino could be better but when you gamble expect to lose. My wife and i win sometimes and lose sometimes i come with a budget and if we are up great if not then who cares. Table games have better odds especially single deck blackjack don't go to the self shuffle machine.
After months hiatus, got an email yesterday that I had "BIG BONUS FREE PLAY". Since I was passing by, I stopped. Place was packed. Every machine I had interest in playing were taken. Finally found a 50 cent minimum bet which is rare there. 10 dollars free play. Yep 10 dollars. Straight to 0. Since I was there, and I haven't been for awhile, I decided to try 200 and low roll. 15 minutes later, I was in my car questioning myself why I even bothered.
