With the signing of the new Compact with the Tribe, Governor DeSantis confirmed what Tribe CEO James Allen confirmed two years ago. The Tampa Hard Rock is the most profitable casino (for the Tribe) in North America. This is partly attributed to by having the tightest slots and video poker in the universe. Gamble anywhere else or expect to lose. It’s just that simple.
Went today for my birthday with 300 bucks. Plan was to gamble, eat, gamble.. Played 10 different slots my highest win was 2.20. Yes 2.20$ on a bonus on a 1.50 bet. This place is depressing. Just got the hell out of there and went elsewhere to eat. Every trip there is the same. Lose. I go to South Florida and win or at least win more than my bet.
Just be warned. Whatever you walk in with, you will lose. 99% of the slots, whether you put in 20$, 100$, 500$, will suck it straight down to 0. If you are lucky enough to sit at a "loose" slot, you will win your bet back a few times, then go straight to 0. I have been a frequent here since 2004. I still go at least once a weekend. I haven't even seen anyone win a jackpot since 2008, even on busy weekends. I spend a lot of time walking around watching people since my bankroll is usually gone in 60 seconds. Slots here are programmed to pay very little amounts. I take trips to South Florida, and usually always leave casino's ahead or even, never at Tampa. I saw someone bet 6$ max on buffalo gold, get over 100 spins with retriggers, and win 40$. I guess that is considered a jackpot payout for this place. So in a nutshell, at this place, you "pay to play" and that's it. You don't win.
After years of receiving gift offers I was kicked out of the program for not gambling enough. I've stopped in maybe twice a month since then and last week I won $800. I just received a flyer with great giveaways again, I'm back on their list of preferred customers. I want to thank the Rock for putting me back on the program and they will be seeing me for the next 8 Tuesdays at the least. Now I want to go and gamble.
Took a trip there on Wednesday after saying months ago I was never going to step foot in there again. 500$ bankroll. First up, Dragon Link. 300$ in. 5 cent version, 2.50$ bet. Straight down to 8 dollars where I got my first coin bonus. Won 18$ when I was down 292$. Then, straight to 0. Next up, Dancing Drums. 100 in. 1.76$ bet minimum. Straight down to 20 dollars where I decided to do my last 2 spins on 8.88$ max bet. Bonus. 0$ win. Last up, and last 100$ on Buffalo Grand. 1.60$ bet. Straight to 0$, no bonus, and my highest win was 2.80$. Stormed out of there as usual. Next morning, checked my wild card promo page, and I accumulated 0$ bounce back free play. I lost 500$ in 30 minutes, and got nothing back. Screw this place. Same thing every trip. No playability at all.
