After months hiatus, got an email yesterday that I had "BIG BONUS FREE PLAY". Since I was passing by, I stopped. Place was packed. Every machine I had interest in playing were taken. Finally found a 50 cent minimum bet which is rare there. 10 dollars free play. Yep 10 dollars. Straight to 0. Since I was there, and I haven't been for awhile, I decided to try 200 and low roll. 15 minutes later, I was in my car questioning myself why I even bothered. Lastly, I am seeing commercials on TV to vote no on amendment 3. What a joke and a lie. VOTE YES!

You do realize that Yes on Amendment 3 was backed by about $25 million from the Seminole tribe and $20 million from Disney, right? They wanted it to pass because despite the current state legislature being deadlocked, they believe it will make it even more unlikely for commercial casino expansion to ever arrive.
Now that the amendment has passed, the only way for any commercial casino expansion will be for a citizen-backed initiative to get ~750,000 signatures to be placed on a ballot for a future election, then it must pass with 60% of a state wide vote. That's a high barrier, and you better believe that if expansion does make it on a ballot, it will be slammed with ads backed by enormous amounts of money from the Seminoles and Disney.
