Slots aren’t paying!]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/florida/seminole-classic-casino.html/discussions/2509388 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/florida/seminole-classic-casino.html/discussions/2509388 Beware!!!! Just like all the other Seminole casinos they are ALL NOT PAYING OUT BECAUSE THEY NEED OUR MONEY TO PAY FOR THEIR EXPANSION OF THE HARD ROCK HOTEL and Seminole Coc Creek is also renovating and expanding. So BE PREPARED TO LOSE. ESPECIALLY ON THE SLOTS. THEY ARE NOT PAYING OUT UNLESS YOU HAVE FREEPLAY or you are a high roller and can bet the max bet! Even with a max bet you are only winning maybe $50-100. Not like it used to be! So unless you have LOTS OF MONEY TO THROW AWAY STAY AWAY FROM THESE INDIAN CASINOS UNTIL THEIR CONSTRUCTION IS DONE. MAYBE THEN THEY WILL START PAYING OUT ON THE %’s that they CLAIM THEY ARE PAYING OUT. ITS ALL BULL!!! Ask anyone in there if they actually WON!!! A lot of angry faces. You don’t ever hear anyone screaming anymore that they hit. You see everyone banging on their machines. It’s a disgrace. They are extremely dishonest too. And prejudiced. Just go with enough money to have a little fun. Leave your ATM cards at home. If you win. Go home. Do not put it back! Because it is RARE THAT YOU EVER WIN!!! Good luck. ]]> Tue, 11 Sep 2018 00:17:15 +0000 <![CDATA[Seminole Classic Casino: Hold Your Breath]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/florida/seminole-classic-casino.html/discussions/2505459 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/florida/seminole-classic-casino.html/discussions/2505459 Smokiest casino I have ever stepped foot in, can't breathe when the doors open. Blackjack on the weekend was $15 minimum, even though they advertise $5 BJ 24/7. Buffet was awful, cheap, but no variety and dry, old food. Free Drinks for players is a plus, but not worth coming to this casino again ]]> Fri, 20 Apr 2012 14:06:01 +0000 <![CDATA[Seminole Classic Casino: A step back in time]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/florida/seminole-classic-casino.html/discussions/2504639 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/florida/seminole-classic-casino.html/discussions/2504639 A casino for the old at heart. No frills, no bells no whistles. However, the place is always packed and it pays better than the big glitter casino up the street. They do have a small buffet that is very reasonably priced. Again, just basic food, but it is always packed. They have good assortment of older penny machines and lots of nickel and quarter slots. Only bad thing is the smoke and it can be overwhelming. Beats me where people get the money to burn on cancer sticks! ]]> Tue, 25 Oct 2011 21:15:55 +0000 <![CDATA[Seminole Classic Casino: Solicitor heaven]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/florida/seminole-classic-casino.html/discussions/2504336 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/florida/seminole-classic-casino.html/discussions/2504336 Get a players club card and keep it in the slots at all times. Otherwise, if you don't, another person will try and con you to put their card in the machine you're playing to earn points. If you win, they will try to claim the cash out voucher. Happened to me three times and three strikes you're out! I have never been back there since. Oh, the smoke is horrible. Even worse when people blow it in your face. ]]> Sat, 20 Aug 2011 06:34:18 +0000 <![CDATA[Seminole Classic Casino: Seminole "Classic" Casino]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/florida/seminole-classic-casino.html/discussions/2502552 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/florida/seminole-classic-casino.html/discussions/2502552 This Seminole Casino was the first and original Bingo Hall. They still have Bingo sessions daily. Over 25 years 'old'. the building was expanded when poker became legal in Florida. Now it has a 12 table poker room and perhaps 1500 class III machines. It also still has about 40 Class II "lotto" machines that have their loyal followers. Some of those may be 15-25 years old. (The machines)

You must be 21 to play the machines or consume alcohol. 18 to play poker.

Join the players club for some free slot play and buffet, than receive a discount at the buffet, and promotion eligibility when you re-visit. They have frequent promotions and drawings. Free entry for most drawing for swiping your players club card. Points are 1 point for $2.00 cash in, 400 points - $1.00. No cash back, but points can be exchanged for free slot play occasionally, or used in the two snack bars, bars, or buffet.

Offers and promotions are received monthly in the mail by "qualified" players. The club has 4 tiers. The club card and points may be used at all Seminole Casino's. Often there are promotions such as "Earn xxx points on dd/mm/yy and receive $xx in free play", or similar style promos.

BINGO: They have a large Bingo Hall, with an enclosed NO Smoking room as well. Call for more information.

The poker room is competently run. The dealers and staff are friendly with regulars, and the poker promotions are excellent and often easy to win. They remember peoples names. My favorite poker promo is "Aces Cracked Wins $100". A Bad Beat jackpot has previously grown to well over $150,000. The poker room allows smoking at the tables. The small game starts at $1.00-2.00 limit poker. The largest game currently (Due to Florida Law) is $5.00-$10.00 No Limit Holdem.

There are "casino hosts", although comps are not that great. Free buffet? The buffet is only $7.99 anyway, and player club members save $2.00. The buffet is small compared to other casino's, and features hand carved roast beef, and either poultry or pork. There are also several other entrees in the steam table, soup, salad bar. Rarely dessert. But at these prices, who can complain.

The slot machines: I believe that the Seminoles slot machines at all of their properties have a high "hold" compared to other "Racino's" in Florida. I do not know what percentage they pay back as the tribe does not make that information public. Today, I saw them promoting (Signs and individual signs on machines) that they (Seminold Classic) have "The loosest slots in Florida.... guaranteed." To quote their promo card, "Strictly slots magazine presented Seminole Casino Hollywood with its coveted Certified Loose Slots award."

Strictly Slots Magazine is part of the Card Player "empire". I'm seeking information to salve my curiosity as to what constitutes their coveted award and claims. Wish me luck on that. I can say the The Isle Casino "up the road", as a "Racino" answers to the Stated of Florida, and has signage stating they pay back more than 91% on slots. It changes, the last time I looked, it was at 91.99%. I would be pleasantly surprised if Seminole Classic or any other property meets or exceeds that number.

With the Hard Rock Casino next door, the patrons tend to be more on the low roller side. Do not expect to see high fashion. It is a noisy, smoky environment. Very crowded, especially during the big drawing events and on "Free Gift Days" the line to the Player's Club to redeem can literally be "Out the Door".

Free beverages while gaming, beer, wine, well drinks. The servers are eager to please, though on occasion, as in any casino, can be difficult to find. As is usually the case anywhere, tip them well and you'll see them much more often. :)

To "classify" the Seminole "Classic" Casino Hollywood, I would term it a locals place.

It is old. It is smoky. It is not brightly lit. (Maybe a good thing) It is noisy and very crowded at times.

It is also fun.

I'd rate this overall at 50%. Certainly far from the worst place I've ever played, and I've visited over 150 poker rooms - casino's in the USA alone. But if I wanted to impress someone, had mom with me, or was very nicely dressed, I'd probably go elsewear.

That's my opinion. :) ]]>

They also advertise some great deals in their restaurant but be aware, you have to be a member of their slot club to get the advertised price. They also have no hotel or table games which is the reason for the 1's, and it is a VERY smoky casino which is why I gave the atmosphere a 1. ]]> Tue, 16 Jun 2009 08:35:23 +0000 <![CDATA[Seminole Classic Casino: Too Smoky For Me]]> https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/florida/seminole-classic-casino.html/discussions/2502198 https://www.americancasinoguidebook.com/florida/seminole-classic-casino.html/discussions/2502198

I iive about one mile away from this casino so I can visit it fairly frequently if I wanted to, but I don't because it's too smoky.

If you spend more than 10 mintues in the casino you will come out smelling like an ashtray and I am not kidding. The odor will be in all of your clothes and hair. It's a very disgusting situation if you're a non-smoker, which I am.

It's located right across the street from the Seminole Hard Rock Casino, but they try to attract a different crowd - a much lower level gambler.

They seem to run some pretty good gambling promotions, but in order to take advantage of them you need to stand in line at the players club desk and they only have a maximum of three clerks to handle the lines which can get very long. You can easily spend 20 minutes in line on a weekend - day or night.

The Seminole's players club works the same at all of their properties. There is no cashback. You can only earn comps at a very, very low rate of $1 for each $400 put through a slot machine, or $800 put through a video poker machine.

If a Vegas casino offered a players club with those benefits, people would laugh at it and never play at that casino. In Florida, however, they pretty much have a captive audience and clueless gamblers who don't know any better.
