Was told when I received my gaming card that I have to spend $75 in points before getting my $15 compt Dania Dollars. Went to collect them was told it was $10 not $15. First scam... Computerized roulette plays high when you play low plays low when you play high.etc.etc.. Almost impossible to win. Played slots. Have $5 showing on the machine ,win three the same and the balance went to $4.40 with a $1 bet .So I won and lost money! Pit crew tells me that when I put money into the machine that I lose it!? Tells me I won 40 cents ? Then it would be $5.40 yes...? No! Not with a $1 bet and you don't lose anything if you win! WTF!
The casino has a fresh look - because it's relatively new - but the staff needs to be much-better trained in all aspects of customer service which tends to bleed over into other areas of operations. Haven't tried the new Buffet room yet the food service to date needs to be better prepped and system to coordinate all such services needs a lot of work. Slots are so-so and as far as payouts, they are average at best. The 954 music lounge for shows is poorly laid out for accessible seating and those who pay premium prices. If anyone stands up, no one can see a damn thing unless you are in the front row. Their talent offerings aren't bad and the tickets somewhat reasonable. Downside is that their ticketing office is at their sister venue in Miami so if you have an issue on event day, good luck sucker! The security checking bags does a cursory review. The Club card folks double as staff at a concert (too cheap to hire pros who handle audiences) and then stand there watching the show. For those who work in the arena/aud/venue business, that's a no-no. Serving the paying crowd should be the top priority. I still prefer Vegas and especially love Downtown. The little guy built that town and the Mob during the early days was smart enough to realize that Joe Average was the foundation to long-running success. While I despise the hassle of a 5 1/2 flight, the 2,168 air miles go quickly knowing that I'll be "home" when the wheels touch down at McCarran.
Worst casino I've ever been to. I'm a high roller or shall I say a max bet player and the promotions are bullshit. Im certainly not a sore loser because gambling is taking a chance but I'd much rather lose $1000 a day with the Seminoles Mardi gras Calder Miami any casino but Dania. You have no pin # to your card they give you vouchers(really VOUCHERS)_and $20 for 2000 points ask any real gambler if that isn't ridiculous do they have any idea what you have to spend to get 2000points it's a freaking insult whenever my family friends want to join me I take them some where else.Spin to win is completely unfair to ALL GUEST and the pay amounts are ridiculous go to any other casino and you want even be insulted like that And don't get me started with free play. Free play is suppose to be based on your level of play(betting amounts and time played, how long how often)and then loaded onto your card. The only reason and I mean the only reason I still go when I feel like it is because its 4min away from my home but honestly driving somewhere is worth it even if I lose I just honestly rather lose somewhere else not with them.
Loved the experience. Fresh, alive games fun I usually go to biloxi, Atlantic city and las Vegas. I am high levels at other casinos and enjoy diversion from retired life. This casino hit the spot. But food needs fixing. Too high for small size and quality. Simple fix, if management is serious. Gaming exciting. Other reviews on return reflect unrealistic expectations. It is Gambling. You will loose if you expect to win.
