I enjoy shooting craps, but at this casino the dealers are extremely annoying. As a patron you just want to enjoy the game, but you have dealers making bird calls, dolphin sounds, and arguing with customers which is truly unprofessional. Hard to enjoy yourself. Dealers are suppose to place bets, take loses, and pay winners. I am not your friend, and I don't appreciate all of the distractions. Dealers need to keep conversations to a minimum, you are working. Dealers take the fun out of the game here. I would never go back to this casino. SAVE YOUR MONEY. Go to AC instead.

They removed a lot of favorite machines and replaced them with new machines that no one likes!! Plus you must bet .40 and not even get a nickel back for your bet. It's dirty with housekeeping falling down on picking up trash. Stay away, go buy a pair of shoes or a Dooney and Borg purse instead.

The Casino is clean, the customer service and other employess extremely friendly and helpful. The racetrack restaurant overlooks the finish line. You can sit there all day and enjoy good food, reasonable priced, friendly service and never have to walk more than a few feet to place a bet. I don't know if there is a dress code but this is a class place. The post parade is as it should be. It's enjoyable to hear and see each horse beautifully kept parade in front of the stands. The winners circle right there!
The gigantic outdoor TV is easily viewed by anyone.
The simulcast room looks like something out of Startrek. The entire room is filled with
HUGE TV's and betting machines, and more importantly helpful staff.

Unlike Harrah's there are no people sleeping on sofas near the finish line.

You can also not be afraid to bring you family. You won't get mugged here.

Goodbye Harrah's Hello Delaware Park

There are slots and table games. Slots are in a compact arrangement and easy to find what you're looking for. Table games are relatively new, and the dealers are professional. The dinner promo for players draws a small crowd of daytime slot players, and you can normally find room at the tables. Nice, local alternative to AC and Dover.
We stayed later for dinner and it was surprisingly terrific. Parking was no big deal to us; you walk through a small landscaped paek just prior to casino, so not just concrete.
Side note: we really lile the golf course and restaurant on the property. It's a complete day out.

I live near this casino, ended up going there almost twice a week for two years. I play for pleasure and kill time, but could never came back with money. The slot machines are designed to make you continue to play, win small amounts occasionaly, and ultimately lose. They raise $1000 jackpots to around $1050-$1200, and I have seen old people spending $200s in trying to hit that $1000. After everyone loses all of their money, they give out the jackpot at midnight to someone. The jackpots are small, and never hit during peak hours/weekends but mostly hit at night. If you stay there for 2-3 hours and walk around both floors, you will hardly see anyone winning more than $100.

Regarding atmosphere, this is not an entertainment place, but purely slot gambling place. You don't see even 1% of gamblers having a smile on their face at this place. The place is surrounded by a kind of sadness I think because everyone always loses the money. It is considered a very big win if somebody hits $200+. I have noticed that I start with $100, and most of the time, I stay below $100.

Poker Room is excellent, played for a few hours and won a seat into the nightly tournament, which I won. Didn't cost me anything. Several nice restaurants, and was able to use Player's Club Points to pay for the food even though I didn't play for very long. Can't wait to go back.

I was there today, 11/27/11, and mostly play roulette or three card poker.

That obtrusively loud noise coming from that new Batman slot, or whatever it is, was just extremely too loud. It made it almost impossible to hold a conversation while sitting at the three card table. Everyone, including the dealers, was complaining. This monstrosity belongs in a total slots area and preferably on the second floor.

I know that slots are your main money makers but it will be a long time before I return. I understand my small betting doesn’t make a hill of beans but I just did not enjoy this trip.
