Anyone familiar with the variety of casinos in Vegas knows that in addition to all the glitz on the Strip, there are also a large variety of smaller casinos all over town, generally catering to local residents and offering a more laid back, relaxing experience (and sometimes slightly looser machines). Dostal Alley is that kind of place - I go there for the beer more than the casino experience, although the machines they have tend to seem to pay slightly more often than those in the bigger casinos around Central City and Blackhawk. If you're after a place to grab a good craft beer and some fun chat with the bartenders while you drop an occasional dollar or two into their video poker machines, and if you're OK with "shabby chic" bar decor, this is definitely a place worth checking out.
