South Carolina State Museum, Columbia
This is the largest museum in the state and it features four floors of exhibits that cover the natural history of South Carolina, art, culture, science and technology. Caesars Head State Park

This zoo houses over 2000 animals which represent over 350 species. The highlight of the zoo is the Kangaroo joeys and koala cubs but there are varieties of enclosures that you can explore. You can visit the 2 acres African Plains where you will find animals from the African savanna such as zebras, giraffes, ostriches, baboons, and lions in their natural habitats. There is also the Ndoki Forest area which is a sanctuary filled with elephants, gorillas, and meerkats. Some of the animals that you are also going to find at the zoo are Siberian tigers, grizzly bears, komodo dragons, sea lions, and so on. The zoo also features a botanical garden and zip lines for a more thrilling experience.
