The Buffet was bad. They actually served us powdered milk. The pork chop I had was dry and tough. The cashier at the buffet had a slightly negative attitude. No customer service on her part. The salad bar was good. I went to play slots two nights. Lost $80 one night and $60 the next. Didn't get to really enjoy playing. It just ate it two fast. My boyfriend and his son played black jack. The dealer kept changing the rules. The pit boss was not concerned-more rude then anything. Stopped at Spirit Mountain and Wild Horse Casinos on the way home. Staff was way friendlier at both places. Had fun playing slots at Wild Horse. Found a slot I got to play for over an hour and only came out $7 down. Wild Horse's Buffet was really good.

We've been to all the Oregon casinos and think Chinook Winds is the best by far. Many of the Oregon casinos are as bright as the beach and as highly organized and glitzy as an auto show room. Chinook Winds keeps the lights subdued and classic rock playing low in the background. The machines are varied and definitely seem to pay waaaay better than Ilani or Spirit Mountain. The staff is super friendly in my experience so I don't understand the other reviews. Perhaps the reviewer was the problem...? Overall this casino has an excellent vibe. Food is just OK. And when you need a break, a beautiful beach is only 200 yards away.

Parked our RV up for the night to discover that we were required to obtain credits on a loyalty card to earn our parking spot. After one of the most appalling (and certainly the most over-priced) meals of my life, we could not find a single staff member who could explain clearly how we could do this. The environment was smokey, dirty and devoid of any charm. My wife, who is the toughest person I know, was almost reduced to tears. I offered to pay for the parking spot just to get the hell out of there, but even this offer wasn't accepted. By far the low point of our otherwise wonderful trip to the US!

I was not happy with Las Vegas 6 months ago because of the high prices rude attitude of employees and way over crowed. but Vegas tops Lincoln city Chinook winds , I don't mind dumping a few hundred at a chance to win and have some fun , the staff were very rude , the drinks expensive not included with gambling, no free beer or drinks here, and no slot pay off , I dont expect to win but at least give us something for our money , they don't even try. never again will I wast my time and money at this place. the state slots are better and so is the beer.

First of all I won $90 and I still say that they are ripping people off. The attitude is this is our building and we run the show. Total dicks to even big paying customers. The high stakes room is smaller than a Starbucks. The $$ is being put away and more property is being bought ???? Are we not controlling the payout $$$ must be the state gets $$$ so they are happy happy happy while us hardworking adults hand it right to them.
