I used to be a loyal patron but this casino does not reward loyalty at all -- they just want your money -- try another casino in NM ,

Isletta or Santa Claran - where your loyalty is rewarded.

No longer free to park. Now costs $25-$35 per day to park overnight in a parking lot that is not level without any amenities. Take your business elsewhere.

I just reviewed the Hard Rock Seminole in Miami FL (which is the WORST casino EVER!! Zero pay out, no drinks to be had for even HOURS of playing, overpriced to buy, NO customer service. But I wanted to review Sandia because it's about the opposite of Hard Rock. They always have waitresses going around with drink carts so you never have to wait. Slot machines are as loose as any Vegas machine.. if not a little better at times. Players Club is very generous with comps from weekly free play ($5 to $30), gas cards, and meals. Nice staff.. and casinos knows how to treat guests. If you do slots in Albuquerque, Sandia is your #1 choice! Next best would be Route 66. There are a couple more in the area, but you want to AVOID the former Hard Rock (South of the city/airport) which is now called Isletta. Tightest slots in town. Long lines for the soda machine (since apparently "older folk" can't figure out how to use the new multi-flavor, high-tech Coke machines).

My wife and I stopped in at this casino on a recent swing through New Mexico in Sept. We had visited the place a couple of years before so were aware of its location and decor. The place really resembles a Vegas casino and is well designed, colorful, and very attractive. However, the slots really don't pay anything so go there for the ambiance because you won't win any money.
The pool area is really nice and and I would have liked to visit one of the rooms but didn't take the time. I would think that this casino would be a really nice destination for a weekend or a couple of days off, as they have entertainment along with all the casino ammenities and several restauants. We did not eat there so cannot comment on the food but it's really a beautiful casino and from what I read, the largest in New Mexico. Would spend a weekend there if I had the opportunity for a little R & R.
