The Cannery Casino & Hotel in North Las Vegas is designed to resemble a 1940’s post-war canning factory.  The fun and friendly atmosphere takes you back to a bygone era.

The hotel features over 200 guest rooms, a pool and Jacuzzi, 24-hour room service, five restaurants and four bars/lounges, Pay-Per-View movie selections, corporate credit rates, racer rates available in cooperation with the nearby Las Vegas Motor Speedway, coin-operated laundry facilities, in-room iron / ironing boards and hair dryers.

They offer a variety of diverse dining options including Victory’s Cafe, Cannery Row Buffet, Waverly’s Steakhouse, Casa Cocina Mexican Restaurant and Vino’s Italian Ristorante & Deli.

Summer is an especially fun time at The Cannery offering indoor/outdoor entertainment with a concert venue that will accommodate up to 3,000 people featuring 25-foot by 60-foot doors that open to create an outdoor amphitheater that overlooks the pool. Seasonal events include concerts, outdoor festivals, boxing, motor sports, parties and exhibits. The hotel also offers entertainment with Galaxy Theatres first-run movies.

But good local’s style gaming is what the Cannery is really all about.  The slot club, called The Can Club, awards 1 point for every $1 of coin-in on slots and $2 coin-in for video poker. Table games customers earn comp dollars based on their play. The customer’s points may be redeemed in the following ways: $1 in cash for every 400 points redeemed, logo merchandise, meals in all restaurants, certificates for goods and services at area “Neighborhood Partners,” Gift Shop items and movie tickets.

The Cannery promotions run almost like clockwork.  Every month there are usually merchandise/gift days, possible bonus point days and sometimes a drawing thrown in for good measure.

The merchandise is always of good quality, which makes them stand out against some of the gift offerings from competing casinos.  Throughout the year they offer nice logo-wear like silk Hawaiian shirts for men and women, micro-suede jackets, denim shirts, heavyweight quality sweatshirts, Ralph Lauren jewelry, Irish crystal and more.  Players get the merchandise based on a set number of same-day points earned, but retain the points to use for additional comps and cash back.

The monthly promotions calendar also almost always includes bonus point days (five times points on certain days of the month) and a strong “Neighborhood Partners” (“earn and redeem”) program which allows customers to purchase gift cards using their same day earned points for various national and local stores that have mass appeal to their customers. Stores often include retailers like Target, Rite-Aid, Walgreens and grocery stores.

The calendar changes every month, but the promotions remain relatively the same.  Locals usually have a calendar mailed to them every month along with a separate set of coupons to be redeemed for cash back and food offerings based on their previous play.  But visitors can call for the schedule (866-999-4899 toll free or locally 702-507-5700) or visit them on the web at: www.cannerycasino.com

In addition to the monthly promotional calendar, Cannery Casino Resorts also mails out individual bounce-back monthly cash coupons based on previous play and other rewards to its established customers.

The Can Club also continues to offer same-day cash back, a popular program, especially for local gamblers, which is becoming a rarity at many other casinos.

Cannery Casino Resorts operate three Las Vegas casinos including The Cannery Casino Hotel (located on Craig Rd. at I-15) in North Las Vegas, the Rampart Casino at the Resort at Summerlin (northwest Las Vegas) and the Eastside Cannery.   For more information about Cannery Casino Resorts, visit them on the web at: www.cannerycasino.com
